May could do it and TMac and Tomlinson take the direct tall opponents.

TMac turnovers #demonlandmyths Tomlinson's kicking is fine too. It's the combined groundball mobility problems that are the possible issue.

I've been in WA for the first time for a few weeks and footy timeslots are very different here. 1:10 games start at 11:10am, 3:20 games at 1:20, "night" games at around 5:30 run across dinner time and are all done by 8pm or just after. Even today's WC vs MFC geme starts at 4:20 instead of the 6:20 in Melbourne. Teams are announced in the afternoon on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I lived in San Francisco for a few years and it was similar with the NFL, but it was all I knew so it seemed normal. I'm sure WA fans are used to it, but it has a very different feel.

Not yet here where the game is being played 😉

Muth-win game

I know it's unpopular but I'd change to 16 on the field like AFLW, maybe even 15, and strengthen the interchange cap to limit congestion. I'd also reduce to 16 minute quarters, the game goes for too long IMHO.

Ned Moyle looked good.

Have you got the similar figures for goals against across those 36 quarters? Are you even more embarrassed for our opposition when they can't score against us?

I thought Holmes was best on. Lever was great but O.Henry did get away for 3 goals. Holmes, Lever, May then Z.Guthrie/Petty/TMac/Oliver

... but, but Nick Daicos ...

Geelong's midfield looks under-powered with Dangerfield injured and Parfitt and O'Connor "managed". I see both of them are named as emergencies, I expect at least one to be a late in.
-
So constant scrutiny = "maggots". Olympic long jump is coming up - you just qualified.
-
There's no game without umpires and they do good work in a very difficult and highly scrutinised job. It's poor to refer to them as "maggots".

The Drums are starting to beat for North

I'm not sure that an odd number of teams is a huge problem now that bye rounds are committed to with the players association. Sure it's a pain in the early rounds for those teams involved but it may actually help smooth out things if the AFL persists with Round 0. They could schedule byes for the 8 teams that play Round 0 in the first 8 rounds and as a result just have one team a week off and not need to schedule the 4 specific mid year byes. They'd need to make sure that teams are not waiting too long for their bye. With 23 rounds after Round 0 they'd need to schedule byes for 4 of the Round 0 teams mid year, it would make sense for them to be the 4 teams that got byes in Rounds 1-4. They could schedule the other 4 from Rounds 5-8 in the last 4 rounds of the season. -
What sort of operation? He doesn't have a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Yes Geelong have been consistently contenders but Scott went 11 years until he won that second flag and Longmire is 11 years in and counting. We're 2 years in and counting. Oh yeah crazy Bevo 7 years in - but who's counting?
-
Jake Bowey's inclusion this week would enable some roll on structural improvements which would impact Geelong's planning. I love your enthusiasm WCW but now you've tripled down on this info in a public forum when he asked you not to say anything. I suggest you just cherish your opportunity to have some inside information and don't overshare.
-
Well we've lost by more than 40 pts once in the past 4 seasons and by 30 or more twice so I'd say you've done your dough.
-
You gave examples of 18, 19 and 18 goals last year. I like fact corrections with more actual facts in them.
-
Cats had one vs Carlton and 8 players over 31yo.
-
The facts are you gave 2 examples of 20 goals against the Premier from 7 years ago. The other example you gave is actually from the 22 GF, so yeah the Swans weren't winning it that year giving up 20 goals ...

TMac myths - he's a horrible field kick. According to Wheeloratings he's mid table for turnovers per match and disposals per turnover for key defenders and better than May and Lever on the first and better than Lever but worse than May on the second, probably because May takes some point kick-ins. Ironically Frosty is pretty close to best KPD in both categories.

Young, Vlastuin and Grimes each took one contested mark last night. That’s it for Richmond tall defenders and they weren't all vs Petty. You're making stuff up.
