  1. Craig Cameron is a straight shooter and a very smart operator - no doubt he and Mahoney have a range of in principle deals ready to execute as soon as Freo get their shiit together.
  2. I think you need to wait and see it play out before assuming it's a direct swap.
  3. You seem to be persistently leaving May out of your posts - quite clearly he is our #1 target. Look I think if we don't get the Hogan-May deal done you will have a valid point. That's why I'm expecting it will happen.
  4. I see it's apparently Rohan and Dahlhaus that we missed out on - OK resume normal transmission.
  5. Of course it's possible but it's not MFC's fault that the Hogan-May deal is holding things up - did you wants us to accept 11 and a 2nd rounder so we could do these "other deals"? What other deals do you have in mind? I know we don't leak but there hasn't been anything even remotely out there except the KK deal. Give me your list of other players you think we're not getting because this is held up.
  6. wow some Manifesto, dig in deeper! FWIW I've enjoyed you input, even if there's been too much of it - a bit like too many Tim Tams. But I can't help feeling you're headed for a crash - the odds favour the trade going through. I'm not confident to call it one way or the other but if you end up being right massive kudos to you!
  7. Gold Coast are clearing the decks of the small stuff so they can get the May and KK deal done quickly at the last minute if necessary. I see this as a positive.
  8. GC now holding 2, 3, 19, 24, 29, 59, 68, 80 They just received 68 from North for Hall 24 and 59 in pick swap from Brisbane. Once they add 5 in there from us for May those later picks look unusable.
  9. Yes but GC will get pick 2 for him next year if they block the trade and force him into FA. That will be guiding their view of market value.
  10. I gave up on BigFooty tbh
  11. My request for a quote wasn't directed at you, you just chimed in unnecessarily with more unsubstantiated fluff.
  12. Genuinely love your work overall JD. But the clear problem with that plan is 3 vs 2 vs 2 tall forwards. It's one too many for us. Either out Hogan in May OR Hogan stays and plays back (or Weed does. TMac no longer an option back - that's over)
  13. I meant 67% Hogan in purple in 2019.
  14. So Carlton trade their 2 picks to Adelaide and Geelong respectively for more ND picks and GC used their 3 picks on players?
  15. It's been a long road with 10 posts per hour from you. You've stuck your neck out here and I reckon it's about 67% chance to get the chop. The deal is probably on unless Bell completely stuffs it up.
  16. It's not my claim. Quote or it didn't happen
  17. That is not a quote. Are your sure it's not
  18. Got a quote of where he said that?
  19. This actually movement, it will be helpful to get this done. If it's 11 for Lobb + 25, Freo may offer us 5 + 25 which is close enough to 5 + 23 for me If it's 11 for Lobb + 43 who knows what might happen.
  20. Lyon bait?
  21. Friday, 5 October: Restricted free agency offer and unrestricted free agency period starts. Monday, 8 October 10am: NAB AFL Trade Period starts. Friday, 12 October 5pm: Close of restricted free agency offer and unrestricted free agency period. Monday, 15 October 2pm: AFL restricted free agency matching offer three-day period ends. Wednesday, 17 October 8.30pm: NAB AFL Trade Period closes (for exchange of players). Friday, 16 November 2pm: NAB AFL Trade Period closes (for exchange of selections only). Thursday, 22 November 7pm – 9.30pm: NAB AFL Draft (Round One). Friday, 23 November 10am – 1.30pm: NAB AFL Draft (Round Two onwards to conclusion). Friday, 23 November 5pm: NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft and NAB AFL Rookie Draft.
  22. Yes, the Suns are probably happy to get their hands on 5 from us because pick trading continues on after this Wednesday deadline and they could still strike an attractive deal with Adelaide or Port.
  23. Look I'm very happy to "call" you on this topic and AFL knowledge in general.. I think Mahoney is one of the best operators in the AFL and you think he's ordinary. The trade up for Oliver and Weed picks was unprecedented in AFL - maybe Mahoney has been studying the NFL and is ahead or the curve here.
