If we beat Carlton it might shut that [censored] King up for 5mins until he needs to tie his wagon to the next team that suits his stats. He is fond of a big statement Kingy, this weeks was the Carlton midfield are "brutal", no one can stand in their way. You have to ask; can anyone believe a man that plucks his eyebrows?

Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Watching Goody today at training I can say with confidence, that you have no clue.

So we did adventure around to Bellerive at 330 and watched the boys run around for about an hour. When we arrived the Nort side were just finishing up. They would have had 20 supporters vs our 400. It was a bit of the standard drills with emphasis on the turnover, contest and transition parts of the game. Goody was very vocal and driving a lot of the drills. At one stage he was shouting at the backs regarding their positioning and I really noticed how May is really pressing high and Lever is patrolling across the last line. I think this use to be Petty's role but Lever is the obvious choice now as he reads the play so well. In a one hour session I was pleasantly surprised about the emphasis placed on goal kicking. For those who have suggested Bowey should be used more forward I can say he is certainly practicing that part of his game. I can see it being something we will develop and it might be a plan C at some stage that will surprise many. The best thing I can say about this one hour is; they looked sharp, focused and relaxed, all at the same time. That might not seem to make sense but they looked super confident and the laughter and fun they showed at the end said more to me than anything.

I've come across some info suggesting there will be an open training session at Bellerive Oval 330pm. I haven't been able to confirm through any of the normal sources. Anyone know anything about it?

What they are saying at Arden Street

A Scot mate of mine is known for doing handstands on New Years Eve while wearing his kilt, I always avert my gaze but this one time I was traumatized for days. There are some things you just cannot unsee. -
What about the fool that bounced the ball and the wind took it 3m outside the circle towards the Williamstown goal, play on.

Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition

First off I think "deranged" is reserved for WCW. Secondly, you should explain the term " schadenfreude" to him. Thirdly, if he fails to appreciate your highly refined sense of humour, I suggest he might not be a "keeper" (unless he is a MFC supporter of course) -

Glad I used the word "apparently". Now confirmed to be Blicavs not Stewart. Arguably even worse than losing Stewart. Is it inappropriate to have a happy, happy face? -

Console yourself knowing Hawkins and Stewart have apparently done hamstrings. -
Who would have thought?

On a different selection matter Mathew Nicholls is again selected for our match. That's 3 in a row and 4 times this season. WTF. I'll allow that he wasn't as bad against us last week but I really hate giving him another opportunity.

Don't worry the Ferry will be running. They won't want to miss out on the Demon faithful dollars. We have done this trip many times and in 2O21 the game was on a Sunday. Depending on where you stay there use to be a free ferry from Wrest Point but I don't know if that's still a thing. Depending what time ferry you take a lot of fans go across early and congregate at either the Waterfront Hotel or the Yacht Club both strolling distance to the ground. I also know many people who wander around the Salamanca Market or take in one of the many watering holes around there before taking the last ferry across.

Is it is or should it be are? Asking for a friend. Perhaps I should direct the question to Pitty. -
Yes, I had a talk to Disco at the game. He's out for around 8 weeks having had surgery to repair a fracture in his wrist. I didn't know he had also damaged some ribs that he has been hindered by. He said it will be good to get that healed properly during his time out. Seemed pretty confident he would be back in time for finals. In another piece of interesting news I overheard Richo talking to Choco saying it was the best game he has seen AMW play. Seems to be coming along nicely.

You sure you're not a Pirate Apprentice. You can't be old enough to pass the Bar.

The minute I saw Kane Cornes involved 🤣🤣 🤣🤣. I do like the way he can pretend he has some insightful comments about subjects he has absolutely no expertise in!!

Maysie says hi. Oh, and I hope this isn't inappropriate but I'm starting to think you and Dazzle need to get a room.

Nah, kids a bust, don't you read Demonland? He has no "presence". Mind you, there is probably one in a thousand AFL 19y olds that have "presence". I think those ones are called "generational players".

Making a special effort to get along to this game. Hope to get a good crowd of Demons to celebrate James "Moose" Munro's 150 game for Casey. Mrs Dw has ordered a set of antlers and hopes they arrive in time. Seriously, Jimmy is one of the nicest blokes and deserves every accolade we can give him.

Thanks and yes, I try not to engage with certain ...... people, they will beat you with their experience. I did make a mistake however as there is another who's handle is equally appropriate as they do spew garbage. I will add; it's not my way to take pity on them but wasting energy on O2 thief's is a detrimental exercise. I too loved the way Taj addressed his Dad, says a lot in a simple way.

Apparently nobody thinks lying in a hospital bed for 5 days would have his hamstring tighten up. Some mornings I wake up (thankfully) and need to walk around for 20 mins to get everything working. I cannot imagine how I would be after 5 days in bed. When Clayton was put in hospital for 5 days I immediately thought it would add at least 4 weeks to his return as he would have to stop his rehab program and start again.

I've told you before, you have the most appropriate name on Dland.
