    Sadly I agree...

Can anyone explain to me what Brad Scott is trying to get his players to do? They seem bereft of any semblance of a gameplan.

Not a huge fan of how many debutants we have. It smacks a bit of desperation, though admittedly I've not seen much from anyone who is debuting.

Is it just me or is there more Nuffy-Cam footage of supporters doing their blocks after missed free kicks than in previous years. I like it.

It's truly amazing how consistently the Hawthorn football club produces entire lists of hateable players.

Not ruling out Carlton whatsoever. They're a completely different side when Curnow is doing his thing. Not to mention they were dross a couple of years back until about midseason when it clicked for them.

I was ready to go bang on Yze after 15 minutes in this game but thought, wait on let's just see what happens. Good thing I did - guess I'm maturing slightly.

Turn on the commentary for the first time tonight. BT: "Beautiful kick from Saad. It was over kicked. It was over kicked!" Never change...

Can't wait for the meltdowns if Carlton lose this. Richmond should copyright the act of microwaving memberships. They'd make a fortune after tonight if they did that.

Richmond are still in this on the scoreboard but don't look like it in reality.

Logged on just now and immediately went, yep, I bet they had to rollback - this all looks a bit too much like the old one.
  13. Love seeing Toby Green giving Maynard a bath.
  14. Boy I hope Collingwood champion Jeremy Howe is OK...
  15. Match practice I suppose?
  16. Gotten tired of mum's food?
  17. Their failure to win a flag in the 2004-2010 period was the death knell for them. Imagine where North would have been now if they didn't capitalise in the 90s. Well that's the Saints, only a decade behind them and in a worse situation.

I'd like to return to the 90s-2000 emblem as our official logo for non-formal occasions, scoreboard and TV graphics, and so on. The monogram should be used for formal stuff like Best and Fairest events and the like. No emblem should be on our jumper (with the exception of training and pre-season stuff). In official games for premiership points (or finals), we wear the navy blue and red yoke + sponsor stuff, or royal blue and red yoke in the case of a clash.
  19. Conspiracy theory: he has tensions with some of our players and this is a way to coach more at arms length.
  20. Thanks Andy (and Nasher, et al) for keeping this site up and running for all this time. I recently did an online survey that asked me if I was still a member of any non-Reddit/social media/Facebook forum (you know, the kind everyone was a part of back in the good old days before the internet took a turn for the worse). I was proud to answer "YES!" thanks to this site. For those wanting to check their profile to confirm their email is right, you should be able to follow this link to make the required change: https://demonland.com/settings/email/
  21. No. This is Frawley as a forward-levels of stupid. Just play players where they're best suited. It's not hard.
  22. Bontempelli criminally underpaid.
  23. Time will tell. 2025 is a huge year for the club, and for Petracca.
  24. Lowered his colours this year IMO. Massively lost my respect by the way he has handled himself. No one deserves an injury like he got, but that's no excuse to go rogue.
  25. Prime Benny Brown at North Melbourne was one of my favourite players to watch. The best leading forward in the competition and just about unstoppable at his best with decent delivery and those long arms of his. Will be remembered for a long time I think, and not too many players get that return at the end of their career. Premiership player as well if you don't mind.
