If Mitch Clark makes a successful comeback from injury and whatever mental health issues he has (clearly he's a nutbag of the highest order even if he isn't depressed), it will be a fantastic story for everyone except Melbourne. We're the only loser here (though I can remember a nice goal that was kicked on the weekend that wouldn't have been kicked had things not gone down the way they have).

I'm glad to see Melbourne's faith in Newton has finally paid dividends. I know we all thought after that Mark of the Year that it would all click for him, but it's been a while. Now we're all seeing the results we thought we would. What? Wrong Newton? Oh...

I got one when I asked for free candy. The owner wasn't impressed, so he kicked me.

I'm studying finally this year after many years of doing nothing because I lacked the commitment. Every time I do well on a test or make some little achievement, I try to remind myself that I haven't accomplished anything yet. I could quit tomorrow and be right back where I started. I feel like our club is in the same position. We need to keep reminding ourselves that we really haven't accomplished anything. If I treat the next day as the only thing that matters, eventually I may get somewhere. The Melbourne Football Club needs to do the same thing.

I think he's got a great basketball brain. That can sometimes be his downfall, but there's still a lot of overlap with footy so every now and then he does some great things.

And yet it's just about the most politically incorrect thing in the world to say white people are smarter than black people. Here's an idea: what if both opinions are equally idiotic? Let's just focus on footy and leave that kind of discussion to someone else.

I love that H.L shepherd on the mark. I loved it when he was at Collingwood, and I love it a million times more for the red and blue.

I thought Garland's 2013 was fantastic, His 2014 was terrible though, so it's good to see the Good Garland back again.

One thing I've noticed this game is that our tackling technique is miles better than I can remember it being before. It used to be that only Jones, Jetta and Viney could really tackle with the correct technique. Now I feel like everyone can do it (with a few exceptions of course—it's still a work in progress).
