This is making me feel a hell of a lot better about our Collingwood loss. I've rated the Pies all year, so to see us lose against them was never awful (though it was terrible); but to see the up-and-down Bombers beat top-of-the-ladder West Coast makes me feel good. At least our top 2 forwards are playing, which is more than we can say about West Coast.

How on Earth did we beat Essendon? They're exactly the kind of fast-running team we'd lose by 60 to.

It was 2017-esque at worst. Lever wasn't with us last year; the worst we can expect is our 2017 defence, which realy wasn't all that bad to begin with. +1 more year it has no excuses.
