Batram had a very good second half of the season. He can be a part of the 22 going into 2011. He still has problems with his kicking and it can be atrocious on occasion. This doesn't make me a 'robot' or 'just listening to the a common meme'... I saw it with my own two eyes.

I would prefer a player like this taken at 12 rahter than a forward who can't assist in the ruck. Why? Because Watts, Jurrah, a back-up ruck and another tall will not fit in our forward line. So it would be expensive back-up for Watts or Jurrah to get a Darling-type.

You should do the same. We would have kept Bruce in 2012 in a heartbeat if he was fit and healthy. We had noone eligible for the VL until 2013.
