There young sides but a good amount of talent and role players.

Letter from the CEO Post Draft
King sold a future that led to a request. A rather chaotic, immature, shambles of a request that really underlined the efficacy of the King chat…

Bailey Humphrey
A lot happened in this thread - some laughs, some tears, babies were born in this thread, we all come together and wasted the most amount of internet since HWMNBN and bananas. If you get that reference I fear for you but I FEEL for you too ♥️ Peace out

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Will love this player and what he brought to the club. But things change and we took on so much water through Clarry and it has led to this outcome. We did the best thing for the new coach and the group and I know we will honour him and people can boo if they want but I won’t and I will just look forward to the Dees in 2026.

Authority stamped. This should give him clear air with good leaders to put his imprimatur on the group. May will be salty but the rest have got what they collectively wanted so they should be raring to go come November.- Farewell Christian Petracca
That’s a good deal. I know people are salty but this person is a Melbourne person. Our only Norm Smith Medallist and champion just like Clayton. I expect us to honour him and I want us to as a club. If you boo you can, but I won’t. Cya CP5 ♥️- Farewell Christian Petracca
Min 3 open Primary List spots (up to 5 if no more rookies). Jiath brings that down to 3. So maybe we are trying to get a pick to use here? As we have none other than 7 and 8 and 71…- Farewell Clayton Oliver
The accomodation of that legend was the shooting This is the battlefield triaging of that wound- Bailey Humphrey
Sure thing. Then stop referring to them as pick 7 and 8 It’s the same logic as saying ‘we don’t get access to the first 6 picks so we should call our pick 7 - pick 1’ It is all about the talent coming through the draft and while I am bullish we can get talent in at ND11 and ND12 - it has to be noted that it is the eleventh and twelfth shot at getting that talent.- Welcome to Demonland: Jack Steele

Well we have our pick then so that’s good yeah- Farewell Christian Petracca
Yes, I want to immediately death ride- Farewell Christian Petracca
I can death ride, GC!?! Icandeathride,GC?!?- Farewell Christian Petracca
Don’t think Essendon want more picks. I think they are just playing for time and will keep him. I have more sympathy for Humphrey than ZM tho. They guy wanted out, then extended on higher coin, and wants out again… not how it works, skipper- Farewell Christian Petracca
What a time to wait for! The build up to the First World War The thinking it will be the last Moulding of Tolkien and the roaring 20s - Armstrong, Dali, Picasso Didn’t really see what’s around the corner No better time to do some footy trades!- Welcome to Demonland: Jack Steele

My inkling is that we are giving our picks in the middle rounds back to GC and we don’t want to pick in the 60s and beyond too much because you have a 2 year commitment. Thats how your list becomes trash - too many flyers on speculative talents adds up if they keep missing. Getting a Steele for that pick makes that easier to manage. Even if it is for a year or two. No need to develop, no need to give a 3rd or a 4th year ‘to see if they are anything’ and you can concentrate on your more bona fide talents. - Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
