  1. He is more important to the forward line than Fritsch.
  2. Commentator: “The Dees kick their 2nd and are
24 points up still?!” Special Comments: ”Yeah, it’s been that way from the start, Joe. Weird game this one, Joe. Weird game.

    Lever with the 4th forward:

Umm, we lost to Coll and Adel and drew with Haw so we kind of fixtured ourselves there

The mids better work back to then spark us forward - Hunt was a huge spark and Hibberd the next best for forcing some run. At times we become so stagnant with the ball from behind the centre line. Now Harmes and Clarry and Trac have to get back there and push us.

You’re describing athletic capability. Langdon has risen to AA calculations because he wins so much football and is getting better at distributing it. Toby may become a player but speed and stamina aren’t half of it.

It’s risk minimisation, the vaccinated are far less likely to be as symptomatic as the unvaccinated should it be a false negative or too early in the stages of getting the disease. The Las Vegas NFL team has a vaxx mandate for the new season coming up. The availability of vaccinations is different in the US of course but negative tests not enough is the message.

Yeah, I do wonder how many Dees fans are around the bight
I loved seeing 5k in GWS for the Lions game. Surely we would double that?? Dont want to play Port there tho

  10. I bet this wasCNN international. Most watched station in empty Asian airport terminals
  11. You have to be careful with Gus. He seems like he’s a part of the fabric if that group. That’s from afar, but footy teams have a delicate culture if you don’t respect that culture.
  12. Adelaide CEO said on 3AW a fe nights ago that Lynch will be DFA but they may backtrack. Doubt it tho.
  13. As they should - I just hope it lines up with May, McDonald or Gawn coming down in their price tag or coming off the books entirely. Gawn, May, Lever, Petracca, Oliver, and McDonald would all be on north of $700k a year. There is a point at which promising kids will be squeezed out if we can’t get near their value. I also think that the idea of ‘players will take pay cuts to keep people when that happens’ is now BS. I heard that Gawn already took less than market (certainly less than Grundy lol), and Petracca absolutely took less than his market at $900k a year. So they have already taken less to allow flexibility- there is no more discounts to be had. I also think it’s poor form but this belongs in a different thread.

I know, but we are going to get to an EPL style ticketing for the summer in cricket etc. I’m just floating it out there. Would love for my dad to be able to go to the G to see the Dees.

Vic govt and AFL could get it done if they are comfy eating the [censored] that will come with; Not allowing under 16s, unvaccinated, those without neg tests inside two days, having a mask mandate, and fully ticketed with ID proof on entry. Concession stands are an issue. You could close or have them open and own the risk with masks off while eating/drinking in seats with no bars to stand in close spaces. But this takes courage and conviction and it will also lead to protestors in Yarra park on the day I reckon.
  17. It warms the heart that, in a year Collingwood finishes 2nd last and we finish top 3, they have their first pick behind our first pick

Tassie or SA would be best options IMO.
  19. Yes, but we are not talking about defensive forward jobs - we are talking about Fritsch as an AllAustralian. And Bayley certainly isn’t going to make it as a defensive forward

  20. Literally, yes. My main point is that he has beaten up on a couple of lowly teams in two games for ~30% of his goals. This argument is fraught - love my downhill skiers, they put teams to the sword - but just don’t think he has had an AA year.
  21. 13 of his goals against NM and Adel. I don’t think he has done enough. He had about 6 games where he was a liability.

Dazzle - he wasn’t on Seedsman. That’s not making excuses. He had a downer but has had some ripper games.
