One last one to end the season: Haven't tasted success against Geelong on a Saturday afternoon since rd 20 2005.

Yeah you got me, not too many times under lights against Freo. 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2006 I think.

Here's another zinger for you all. The players were seen celebrating hard in Darwin after our win over Freo in round 16. Why? Because it was our first win under lights against Freo as the home team since round 20 1996. A 20 year hoodoo worth celebrating!

The Collingwood win in round 4 holds special significance for the club. It was our first 'away' win against them on a Sunday....ever.

Sue, here's more hoodoos to float your boat: It was the first time we won a home Saturday afternoon game at the MCG V's Hawthorn since rd 22 1990. It was the first time we won a Saturday afternoon game (home or away) V's Hawthorn at the MCG since round 15 2000. It was our away game. It was the first time we beat Hawthorn on a Saturday afternoon as our home game in Victoria since rd 17 1994. Venue was Princes Park.

Another 3 (random) hoodoos to smash: 1) Never won an away game at night V's Port Adelaide....ever. 2) Haven't beaten Carlton on a Sunday since 2007 3) Haven't beaten Geelong on a Saturday since 2005

And smash the North hoodoo as well, particularly if we play them at the G next year.

And didn't we also beat Hawthorn at Princes Park (reigning premiers) in mid 1987 when we were about 4-7 at the time. Must have been a memorable win considering we were still considered a mediocre to bad side at the time.

Sorry I was meant to say we hadn't beaten St Kilda AT ETIHAD since 2002.

We've never won after Darwin and the last time we beat St Kilda the Concordes were still flying from London to New York (2002).

The last time we won an away game at Etihad- Rd 12 2006 vs Essendon the last time we beat St Kilda at Etihad - Rd 22 2002 (I'm pretty sure)

I can't see how he escapes without a week. If it were just 1 smack then he'd just get a fine because Ebert wasn't hurt. But to do it 3 times wasn't a good look. Hoping he just gets the one week. The rest might do him the world of good and let's face it we won't beat Hawthorn this week. Have him fresh for Queens birthday V's Collingwood, which is a game in our weight division.

Unfortunately the monies they could've used to upgrade the review system are otherwise spent on pointless overseas junkets.

I like the kid. if it wasn't for him, Jeremy Cameron (who copped 4 weeks for belting him) would've played rd 1 against us.

Nar I think you'll find Toumpas was the sub in round 1 vs GC. I remember he came on for Kent as the concussion sub and he was an absolute disaster area. Was temporarily subbed out after Kent was deemed ok. Then was eventually re-subbed in for good and was even more of a nervous wreck.

Nar we'd need Sydney to throw in some steak knives to get that one done.

The point I was making is that you don't hear st Kilda or hawthorn fans sooking about Carlisle's possible suspension but us Melbourne supporters are carrying on like pork chops regards Melksham's possible suspension.

Also everyone's stressing about Melksham's possible suspension, but nobody has ever posed the same concerns about Carlisle, who was likely part of the 34.

I thought North were tremendous in winning 2 finals.They're 4-2 in finals over the last 2 years which is a good record in anyone's language. I hate North as much as the next Melbourne supporter but credit where credit is due - finals wins are hard to get.
