  1. KOd is a bit of a stretch, mono
  2. Smith got the kick off before Kossie contacted him. It was late, too late for a tackle. Kossie could also have pulled up or tried to smother. Instead he chose to go airborne with his shoulder, playing the man rather than the ball An interesting 24 hours of deliberations ahead!
  3. Gus as FA compo for Chip Still think the 2 x 1st and 1 x 2nd for Dogga may prove fruitful. Jefferson needs development and size, but looks very good at training. Freo's 1st and 2nd in next year's so-called super draft will be interesting to watch Time will tell
  4. He's hit form at a good time, especially if Kossie is rubbed out. Our small forwards played well last night
  5. That's the only thing going for Kossie: impact to Smith was low. Otherwise: intentional, off the ball, in air at impact, reckless and (arguably) some head contact Doesn't bode well IMO
  6. Further, let's see if they bite consistently, regardless of player star power
  7. Smith shouldn't be such a short arrse
  8. He was a wonderful ruckman to watch. Len Thompson too. Different era, almost a different game back then
  9. Worth remembering that Cripps got off not because of what he did, but because of a procedural technicality, a loophole which the AFL have now closed. He would've got weeks had it not been for that. Kossie cannot use Cripps' charge at the Lions player as a precedent. I reckon he'll get 4 weeks. If Smith comes out and says it was a hit to his chest/shoulder, he might get 1 for reckless behaviour. But it looked to me like there was contact to his head (face), even if chest contact was first. Interesting dilemma for the AFL: Kossie's looked terrible and targetted but Smith got straight back up, Buddy's looked relatively harmless and in the act of going for the ball, but the opponent was concussed. Are they going to punish the act or the outcome, or both?
  10. So you're writing him off after one game? Seriously??? Spargo was good tonight. Another one if your 'not up to it' players, hey?
  11. As I said... Pickett shoulder contact to head Watch https://twitter.com/AFL/status/1637029949206036480?s=20
  12. Look at the vision mate. Made contact with head causing it to pivot back quickly. Might've got shoulder first, but clearly contacted head
  13. Why? It's his first game! We're good enough to keep playing him and develop in the ones
  14. Out: Pickett, Harmes In: Fritter, Viney
  15. I fear for Kossie at tribunal. Did not look good
  16. Kossie's hit would make his uncle proud
  17. I used to know a Bulldogs player who did his knee at Docklands about 10 years ago. He told me because he did it playing seniors he got match payments for each week until his return or until his contract finished, whichever was first. Back then I think it was about $4k per game
  18. It works. A QR code is a QR code, whether it's a screen shot or from the app
  19. I did screen shots of my barcode last year and it worked every time. I could always use the app if there was a problem, but never needed to. Forwarded screen shot to mates when I couldn't go, no problems
  20. Yes, but he would've benefited under our development system. He won't under Carlton's, too cruisy. He's a very good player wasting his career
  21. Think he meant 'crappy'
  22. Neither team deserved the 2 points
  23. A non result for a non game
  24. Finally they're catching Dusty's fend offs!
  25. They really need to stop the blatent push out from the boundary throw in. Lynch simply shoved his opponent then
