Disp looked good in play. Loved the smother he did on the half fwd boundary, showed excellent pressure. Thick, muscley build, which a med fwd prob cannot sustain, perhaps needs to drop a few kg to build a tank. A project player with potential (as much as I dislike that phrase)

And in the trade we got 2 x 1st rounders (Jefferson + currently pick 6) plus a 2nd rounder (currently 24) for him. Aaaaaand... we are paying Grundy, a 2 x AA ruckman about the same as what we would've paid Dogga I'm ok with that

True, but on the flip side, we played terribly, with 3 of our top 8 out (May, Gawn, Salem), away in warm, humid conditions against a near full strength top 4 team, interrupted game... and we came close to beating them. We have to learn to play better without Max, but there are definitely some positives to take out of last night
