What’s the bet a dodgy free kick or non decision decides this game?

Yes it is good but I just loath Essendon so much I hope they win or maybe a draw.

Other than Eddy commentating no issues with Foxtel for me.

If we ever win a premiership I still don’t think Dermott would give us any credit.

I have already praised Goodwin in the post game thread but happy to do it again. Our team defence this year has been fantastic and Goodwin’s tactics last night were great, so full credit to Goodwin. We still have lots to work on but right now I have faith in all the coaching team. Yes I wanted him sacked know doubt about it, but right now I am absolutely stoked he is proving me wrong long may it continue.

Sir Doug Nicholls round is actually two rounds both round 11 and 12.

Great win, I haven’t been super impressed with how we have played this year but tonight was very good against a very good team. I have been a critic of both Lever and Goodwin over the years but feel I need to give them both some praise. The way Goodwin has our team defence working is absolutely fantastic and full credit to him. Lever is having a bloody good season and proving me wrong, his positioning and decision making seem so much better this year. Rivers is already a good player but I can’t wait to see what he will be like in a couple of years. I know Weideman frustrates many on here but I would persist with him for a good chunk of the season, I feel he is so close to making it at this level. Oliver is such a good player, I can’t believe how consistent he is.

Bar the last ten minutes I think that’s the best we have played all year. Centre square clearances became an issue that needs to be addressed or we will struggle to hang on. Rivers has been terrific, I really hope dropped marks don’t cost us the game.

There’s an add on SEN promoting the game this Friday and it mentions a handful of stars from both teams and Oliver isn’t one of them. It sort of sums up the lack of appreciation for him across the board and that includes some Demonland members who until he had signed on for another couple of years were not worried if he left or not, because inside midfielders are easy to find. Well ones as good as Oliver are not easy to find, he’s a gun and will still get better.

I personally think we have played quite poorly in a number of games this year but have been lucky the other team have played worse, unfortunately not today. So so many players played rubbish today and our lack of composure was staggering. Yes Adelaide’s pressure was good but there still a below average team and if we want to finish in the top four and compete in finals we just shouldn’t lose games like that. Jetta was once one of my favourites and would have been my first selected in the side in the 16/17 and 18 seasons but he is so cooked it’s painful to now watch him. Oliver is a freak and I love him, if only he had some more support today we would be 10 zip. As others have said losing is not the end of the world but boy we better play much better the next couple of weeks or we will be 9 - 3 pretty quickly and back in the pack.
