In all seriousness how is it that CH7 see BT as their No1 commentator?

I was just starting to come good after five days away fishing from last Friday night and then I sit down to watch the footy and I feel flat again.

I think your being a bit harsh on the club. Sure it would be great if some more players were wanting to join us, but given we have a core group of players in their prime signed up on big contracts if there were more players wanting to join us more players would also need to be leaving us. The fact the club has managed its salary cap well enough to have enough money to offer LJ / Grundy a reported $700k a year is a great effort. Assuming we can also maintain the likes of Petty and Pickett in years to come. Maintaining and improving on a Premiership list feels like it’s going to be just as hard as building the list in the first place.

I can’t believe people are still underrating Collingwood, their sadly a very good team. Their midfield is bloody good they have a more skilful and smarter group than ours, their backline is solid and they have some very dangerous forwards. And there playing a style that suits there strengths and are a chance to win the premiership.

It’s amazing how good Scott Pendlebury still is.

Fremantle haven’t been that bad but find themselves down four goals already. Collingwood can really hurt you on turnover.

I rate Grundy as a player but I am in it’s a terrible idea camp of getting him. I just don’t think either player is good enough in another position and pressure and tackling in the forward fifty area is already a weakness and will only be made worse. It’s staggering to think we didn’t try Petty as a forward for at least one full game.

Is it just me or is this a pretty average game? We have a handy lead should be more but I am certainly not feeling like it’s over.

For as much as he gets bagged he can bob up and kick some handy goals, I think it’s a big out.

Holy crap West Coast are a big club. Hopefully we can have sustained finals appearances and fingers crossed another flag to get a new wave of members.

It certainly didn’t sound positive for Jack last night which has me loathing the thought of more Jack on tv and radio. I can’t see him moving to another club at his age and with a media career in the waiting, he’s been an amazing player though.

God how bad is that and people wonder why some people prefer to stay home and watch.

Is Junior Rioli from West Coast to much of a risk? I haven’t seen a lot of him this year but his best is very good and apparently open to a move.

Old dee I totally understand your thought process. As I was making my way home Friday night and even most of yesterday I was questioning if I would go this week or not. I think I got to bed about 1am and the process of getting home was just no fun. But then I sat down and watched one epic final and another excellent game and thought I just have to go. Life is short and we have been garbage for most of my life and there’s no certainty we get back to this position next year. I really hope you and your wife go and hopefully enjoy us winning and getting into another preliminary final, but I will understand if you chose the stay at home option.

Another thing that is ridiculous is just how bad it is to get into Richmond station after the game.

On paper you would think both home teams win but take nothing for granted in season 2022. Another thing I hope that disappears with Gill is 7.50 start times, there just horrible.

If they play like they did from late in the second quarter they could.

If Fremantle end up with LJ their going to have an amazing core of young talent. Brayshaw’s work rate is off the charts.
