Both as bad as each other for me. Yesterday’s loss and having the bye this week is really annoying me though.

No. Just when I started to think about trusting them the old school Melbourne mental weakness shines through again. While today’s loss may not end up being the end of the world, a win today while it would have only been against a bottom four team it would have been so much more. I am stoked with where we are at but still a long way to go for me to trust the team.

Great post AF, the only thing I would argue is that I don’t think Ben Brown would be adding much more than Weideman the way the ball is coming into the forward line. I think we might be better playing without both of them, particularly on small grounds like the SCG.

That was putrid, and people still wonder why we don’t all trust this team still.

Anyone else concerned about our forward line on the SCG? Hoping to see Oliver, Harmes and Petracca kick a few between them.

It should be in the AFL TV rights deal that no game in Cairns or Darwin are shown in prime time slots, possibly not shown at all.

Great win, the work rate after half time was fantastic, and credit to Goodwin for changing their mindset. Still plenty to work on but bloody hell its a good position to be in. I am not sure either of Brown or Weideman will have a massive impact in our forward line the way the ball comes in and as a result Weideman really needs to take his chances if he wants to stay in. I think Weideman can make it at this level but not sure it’s at Melbourne though.

Brisbane totally out playing us, their pressure and the perceived pressure are making us make bad decisions. Our work rate is not at the level it needs to be to compete against the best sides. I haven’t felt like we have controlled any period of this game and are lucky to be as close as we are. We need to lift big time if we are to win or even stay close.

Yes fair point probably not that many current players at Carlton I hate either. But there are plenty of past players, administrators and about 70,000 incredibly arrogant members that just make me hate that club. Second only behind Essendon for me.

I like both of those players too but I still [censored] hate Carlton.

The Carlton v Swans game is quite entertaining.

It’s not the greatest look but still better than not wearing one at all, like so many players at the moment.

There are no easy games in the AFL, play and prepare and play the best available team every week. Take nothing for granted.

Yes it is good but I just loath Essendon so much I hope they win or maybe a draw.

I have already praised Goodwin in the post game thread but happy to do it again. Our team defence this year has been fantastic and Goodwin’s tactics last night were great, so full credit to Goodwin. We still have lots to work on but right now I have faith in all the coaching team. Yes I wanted him sacked know doubt about it, but right now I am absolutely stoked he is proving me wrong long may it continue.
