Given how pedantic the AFL / umpires can be I am amazed how often a player takes a mark and a player who is not the closest will role in and stand the mark much closer than they should be. Also LJ moved 5cm’s forward today and got called play on, yet just about every player around the ground from a mark or free kick moves half a meter of the line and they don’t call play on. Meanwhile the player on the mark has to stand.

Hope Moore gets suspended for that.

It’s seriously crazy and poor coaching. We have numerous players like Bowey, Rivers McVee, Langdon and Chandler that could all have a go in there to mix it up if the youngsters are to tired.

I would love to know who Zita spoke to. I have no trust in the club knowing where we are at. My biggest concern with replacing Goodwin has been I don’t trust the club to find someone better, still don’t.

Spot on. There was a Carlton player earlier in the quarter much closer than Chandler and no 50m penalty paid. The umpiring across the whole competition is dreadful.

A couple of good things but overall a pretty bloody average quarter.
