I actually don’t mind that Hawks jumper.

A couple of things I don’t like about the game and others have mentioned this we really don’t seem to be gaining extra support up there. The second the shadows and poor background make the telecast horrible to watch the game on tv, which kinda does my head in. Sadly we are a small club and we need the money.

Anyone who doesn’t think we are dead after today I commend your optimism and I wish I had that but for me we are no chance. The biggest thing for me is we will more than likely lose another match / matches that we should win from poor kicking. Combined with matches we just won’t be good enough to win, no way we can win enough games from here.

Bar a few minutes in that quarter Sydney have been horrible

I assume Fox only had the boundary line commentator at the games so far today?

He is a gun. I really hope we can get him back.

As much of a slog as it is I am finding it entertaining. Fremantle are an incredibly frustrating team, big gap between their best and worst.

It’s a shocking rule or the inconsistency of the interpretation is. I have said it before but the standard of umpiring since the four umpires came in is dreadful.

Hopefully they go back to recruiting duds this year. Agree with you they look to have a couple of very good youngsters.

Sadly looks like Essendon have recruited a very good player in Caddy.

He’s still a handy player but I don’t think he is still one of the best key defender’s in the comp anymore.

Not the first time we disagree on something and that’s all good. Again I think they can play some very good football and I am certainly not thinking this is an easy game coming up. But I think there are a lot of teams with better lists than theirs.

The Saints aren’t too bad, they can play some good football at times. I think their list is one of the most middle of the road lists you will ever see though and are miles away from a Premiership.

I call bulldust on this legend. I am lucky enough to see Yellow Tail Black Cockatoos most weeks at work, hardly rained for months.

I went to that game also but to be honest I didn’t have any problems with their supporters. Had a good conversation with a couple of them walking to the ground and they couldn’t believe I flew over to the game by myself. Maybe I got lucky and met the handful of decent supporters they have. I have never been to a game where it felt our supporters really wanted to get into the game but sadly it was over before we even had a chance.

I still think we are dead for this year but I am loving the improvement we are showing and how good is winning. I think Goodwin and his coaching team need to be acknowledged for turning this around. It certainly helps when your best players are playing well. Bring on the Saints.

It’s so frustrating watching a team do so much right but not capitalise on its opportunities. Hopefully we can convert better in the second half.
