I am a bit like you layzie in that I am still undecided on Goodwin. But I am not like others thinking Goodwin will automatically be the coach next year because he has a contract. We are already struggling to get sponsors, membership has dropped and will drop further if there isn’t much hope. Goodwin’s job is very much on the line in my opinion for the rest of this season.

Brisbane can play some unbelievable football. Their tackling has been great to watch tonight.

I agree and disagree with this. Agree we have some youngsters that are clearly untouchable in trade talks. But I am not too worried about destabilising the club at the moment. Because one way or another with the results we are having it’s coming. As long as the club is honest with the players, which is a big if.

Perfect day / week to announce he has resigned if he actually has. I know we need changes to our list but for me Judd is one of our must keep. If I was West Coast I would be doing everything possible to get him.

I think one of our biggest issues this offseason is how do we actually improve our list. No first round draft pick, all reports a weak draft so trading players out for picks probably not a great way. What type of player would we get for the likes of Oliver, Lever Fritsch and others.

GC have some very good young players.

Thats all well and good to do a reset in 25 and 26 but I doubt you will be challenging for a few years after that.

What do you regard as fairly short time frame? Yes you have some players who could get you some draft picks but a bit like Melbourne your a bit of challenging for a flag.
