Scott is a great coach, but he also has two completely unique star players like: Blicsavs. He is a freak. Plays any position and on any size player. Small or large. More times than not, he gets the job done. Gryan Miers also broke the all time record for goal assists last year. People love to hate him, but he is a master of inside 50 kicks. I would kill to have Miers in our team.

Geelong have only been out of the top eight, 5 times, since 2004
-
How good are geelongs foot skills inside 50 😭

To be completely fair to Hinkley… Horne Francis has been absolutely smothered. Tagged out of the game comprehensively. May as well not be in the ground.
-
Hinkley gone?
-
Get out.

Oh Jesus, Cats can win the whole bloody thing
-
Pffft. It’s only 8 more than me.

Ooooft, I dunno, in my mind prime danger was streaming out of the middle and hitting leading forwards on the chest. He is definitely a player I would say over the last ten years can win games off his efforts. But that’s just me
-
I mean he’s probably 2-3 years passed his prime?
-
Fine. A very close second 😜

Foot skills making the difference so far

Port crowd quiet

I wonder if Frosty was coming into the system now, if he would have been modelled on a Blicsavs type utility. Great speed for his size yet was only really ever used predominantly as a backman. His problem was always, the gap between his best and worst was too big. Haven’t watched many hawks games so not sure if that’s still the case.

Ohhhh that’s a good point, didn’t even think of that. I think I base my decision on fan bases and how much I don’t want to hear from their annoying fans for the next year. But fair, Zorko is many words that will get redacted on Demonland
-
Oops, I messed up that title thread. Please help Demonland mods
-
Pretty self explanatory. Get in the bin Carlton.
-
But do they have a big big sound?
-
Geelong out to $3. Hmmmmm. Will Port choke?
-
Both coaches also play, they aren’t allowed to touch either of the balls but they can tag an opposition player and that player then has to run to the bench and ring a bell before they can continue playing, haha

I’m in. Have two footies on the ground (a red one is worth normal scores, a golden ball is worth double scores). A bull gets entered onto the field 10 minutes into each quarter, at every centre bounce all the midfielders and rucks are blind folded and no player can enter the centre square until the midfield gets it out. Oh and obviously every time the golden ball scores a double goal, the teams switch ends. It’s time.

Ahh ok gotcha. Thanks for clarifying
-
Just for clarification, by political agenda do you mean the party involved in the upcoming court case? Or someone else/others?
-
Interesting! There’s also another phenomenon which occurs to some people who have ‘mastered’ their skill: they tend to undervalue their own competence. They can pass up jobs, not go for promotions, because they see themselves a deficient even though they would be perfectly capable of doing a job. Thus, less skilled, but more overly confident people rise up.

Does the club need a full and external review?
BoBo replied to DeesignerAU's topic in Melbourne Demons
I was curious as to what Jones’s said in full in that SEN interview so here it is: Timmeh Watson: ‘Would you, being a past player, and having an acute understanding of the way the club works, and you obviously weee teammates with a lot of these guys in the time you played, would favour the club having an external review of its culture?’ Jones: ‘ahhh yeah I reckon I would Tim, to be honest. I think umm, I felt frustrated particularaly for the senior players over the last 12-18 months from a PR and narrative point of view. It’s been frustrating and some may let those senior boys down to a certain degree, so I think that would be worthwhile if there’s nothing to hide I think it would be beneficial. I think particularly from a public perspective, that the advantages in doing that, but ultimately mate that will be a decision that comes from people far higher and much more important than me. It’s nice to have see Tracc come out and commit and hopefully even off the back of this, whatever side of the fence you live on, hopefully it will instigate some change and Melbourne can kind of, re-direct and start flying straight again and hopefully be back in contention for next season.’
