CASEY: Rd 05 vs Geelong
Any idea how long is left

CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Carlton
Sounds like a rumour started by the Carlton nuffies over at SEN to stir things up. They were having a segment called “sure thing” or something on Bob and Andy’s show and they reckon there is nothing more sure than Carlton winning. They talk a bunch of dribble, amongst some good content.

Lets remove the Norm Smith Curse
This is the most bizarre thread I’ve ever read on Demonland. Surely Hutchy is a troll

Lets remove the Norm Smith Curse
Here’s your second song

Lets remove the Norm Smith Curse
Support your charitable causes, but stealing another football club’s theme m/entrance song is lame af. It has no relevance to the MFC, no matter how you wish to spin it. You and your mates might sing it, but you won’t get the crowd joining in

Lets remove the Norm Smith Curse
Was a Demon when that song was released, switched to the crows

Lets remove the Norm Smith Curse
There is a a song that featured on a 1992 video Dublin Jim. It is entitled, Dublin Jim. It would mean a whole lot more to Melbourne supporters than YNWA. No one is gonna sing that

Centre Clearances - Considered Analysis Requested.
Our midfielders positioned themselves very poorly against Sydney. They, Sydney, employed a tactic of pushing or holding, particularly Oliver, away from the contest and had a clear focus of pushing their minds one side of the square as soon as the bounce went up. Oliver seems to be sucked in to wrestling and pushing and shoving his opponent. What annoyed me, was why we didn’t try something different at the centre bounce. Go stand fifteen metres off the centre circle and draw out the opposition. Gawn’s tap work was well-read by the Swans and it’s not the first time this season. Viney’s grunt work was greatly missed.

GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Who knows? I think it’s the ticketing system. Ppl can’t be arsed. It has been a disaster

GAMEDAY: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Absolutely pathetic crowd again this week. We will be outnumbered by Swans fans at our own home game. Incredible

Another ex ‘ologist here. This made me smile. Loved Demonology between 2005-2013. Wonderful memories that have been resurrected by reading this thread.

Sydney COVID Case & Our Match
I can’t believe there hasn’t been more noise this afternoon around this. The Swans should be down here tomorrow afternoon. If not, it’s just poor management from the AFL.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Any chance that we could make a left field selection and go with Majak for Tomlinson?? He plays his best footy in the backline. I watched Casey and he didn’t look amazing, but if it’s going to be a wet night, I think he is better at ground level than Petty. Just throwing it out there

TICKETING: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Really ? Great for you, but judging by social media backlash and the fact that they suspended sales, you are in the minority. It’s a joke of a system

TICKETING: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Spent 2 hours getting kicked out of the Ticketek website at the final step. I eventually gave up. They have suspended MCC ticket sales until the problem is fixed. It’s bloody hopeless. I spoke to the MCC, who assured me the seats are not sold out, but the sales were suspended until they rectified the problems. As others note, this is sole reason that crowd attendance is down this year. People do not have the patience to engage a flawed system. If you aren’t tech savvy, it’d be even more of a nightmare.

Kicking 6 goals makes him a superstar

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Yep, but you can swing your elbow back in an unnatural action when being tackled and hit a 6 foot 6 bloke and brake his eye socket

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Fritta will get a week. The media witch hunt has already begun. Unlike the accidental elbow Hawkins delivered, which was universally excused.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
I thought his possessions were fairly sloppy. Didn’t kick to the advantage of leading forwards on a couple occasions. Laying tackles because you are second to the ball isn’t often recorded as a stat

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
The midfield look lazy af. Tackling is down.

Training Ground?
They are indeed. One of my mates plays in the band and you’ll be pleased to know he is a massive Dees fan. He reads this forum from time to time.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Is TMac potentially getting a week for his hit to the face behind play on Grimes. It looked open handed to me, but I wouldn’t put anything past the mrp

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I’m absolutely buzzing still. Just finished the replay and ate a large pizza. I reckon I’m gonna watch the replay again. What is this feeling??

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
If we go in unchanged, we are kidding ourselves. Our connection up forward today was non existent for 3/4. I was there live and could see it and having watched the replay, my thoughts were confirmed by the commentary team. Richmond have fair more accomplished tall backs, who will eat Mitch Brown alive. Whether it’s BBB or Weed, I don’t mind, but when you’ve got quality key forwards at your disposal, who have found form, you don’t leave them in the reserves.
