CASEY: Rd 16 vs Sandringham
Quite possibly. It was a weird looking one. Was in a fair bit of discomfort

Sadly Howes looks to have copped a bad injury. Can’t tell if it’s a knee hyperextension or a twisted ankles. Looked higher up the leg to me

Was that Dunstan with the dropped mark from the kick in? All alone. What an awful skill error.

Awful miss from Harmes and quite selfish in the end, with the whole fifty open ahead of him

JVR takes a lovely mark on the lead at 48m. Kade Chandler demands the footy leading to a deep pocket, bottles the mark and it spills over the boundary. Chandler playing for himself. Schache meanwhile gets a free, kicks his fourth. He must come into the side, and Gawn or Grundy has a spell. Maybe ply one as a sub

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs St Kilda
14.12 in the last quarter, ANB burns Woewodin on the outside, dummies back on the inside, ignore Ben Brown on the lead alone and then kicks long to Charlie Spargo top of the goal square. He needs a serious lesson on decision making. Gives his all, but too often makes extremely poor decisions. Did it earlier in the game running inside 50 and had the whole goals open and went for a pass to the pocket that was easily defended. It’s been years of watching him do it. Last week, is inability to execute the 45 kick inside 50 probably cost us the game. Get it fixed Nibbler!

Time to put the 'Kozzy Form Slump' bias to bed!
We have ANB and Spargo who are apparently defensive forwards. We need Pickett to actually have the football, rove packs and hit the scoreboard. If that’s not the role Goodwin is giving him, then the finger needs to be pointed at him. Pressure acts are great, but half chasing blokes and sitting off the contest stinks of lazy mindset.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs St Kilda
Spot on. Was there live and it was a terrific performance. Ross Lyon is an astute coach and tried a few things and we countered every shot they fired. We controlled general play for the majority of the game. The negative for me was the form of Grundy and Kozzy. Grundy can’t hold a mark, makes poor decisions and taps not to advantage. Kozzy is a complete waste of time at present. There is no fire in his belly. He doesn’t chase hard. He doesn’t get to the drop of the ball. He flies for ridiculous marks. He is worth trading while value is high. Another year like this year and he will be worth a 2nd round pick

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs St. Kilda
That is all well and good, we also need players who are smart enough to get front and centre when it’s kicked inside 50. It’s still a fundamental part of the game, yet it is one glaring area we clearly don’t set up for. I’m looking at Pickett and Chandler. Where the bloody hell are these blokes inside 50

Petracca’s goalkicking
Bloke needs to see a different sports psych. I know the club has one, but he needs external help. It is completely in his head. He also needs to get to work on his deficiencies. Like, seriously work on them. Tracc loves being a personality of the game, but right now he needs to look at fine tuning his skills, which may mean focusing solely on football. I am all for players having a life outside of football, but not when they are out of form to the degree he is. I will probably cop heat for this post, but his primary job is to play football. He has talent but knows he is not performing to the level he is capable of
