    100% agree with this. For a “marquee” player she offered very little on Saturday. Looked like a fish out of water around the ball and only laid that many tackles because she was second to it at just about every contest.

    They were scheduled a week apart or similar was my understanding.

    It’s the exact same camp the MFC were meant to do. Bellamy recommended it to the club. The bloke who runs it is ex SOG and is still being paid by the club for the late cancellation.

    Was pick 16 in Knightmare’s phantom draft. Appears highly rated, could have done well here.. edit- apologies that was an earlier phantom draft from Knightmare. His final phantom draft had him at 28.

    I wouldn't say unknown, he was tipped to be drafted before our first selection.

    Can someone else please post all players taken at pick at pick 31 in recent drafts for me to analyse in detail? I feel this has a major bearing on this trade. Thanks in advance.

    Remarkable isn't it. Let's complain about the lack of success our club has had over the past eleven years...but bemoan decisions made by those knowledgeable within club, in order to become successful.

    C'mon...you make Weideman sound like he's 10 years old. If there's any message to be taken on board here for current players, it's that if you aren't doing the things the football department expect, then you will be moved on and no player is exempt.

    It's going to take a while for that to fully click into gear. I'd say some posters on here will be knitting Jack jumpers and mailing them over the Adelaide for at least 6 months..

    Easy fix mate, just stick a poster of Peter Giles on his wall and within a couple of weeks you'll be right.

    I'd say the chances of us picking up any of those players with our pick 31 this year is unlikely.

    Because more than likely no one was willing to pay that! The club obviously wanted him gone, no one else was interested, so the best deal they could get was pick 31.
