GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Sydney
Lucky to still be in this game. Our skills are sub VFL standard. Luckily the Swans Are just as bad and haven’t converted. The optimism i can take out of this is that our midfield can only get better. They started to show signs in the last 5 minutes. If it continues, we will win this game.

What to do with Petracca?
- What to do with Petracca?
It’s pretty simple really. Jordan Lewis rings his good mate Luke Hodge and says “Hey Hodgy do you reckon you can hook me up with some Lite and Easy?” Hodge replies “this isn’t for Petracca is it?” ”no mate, it’s for me, the kids have made me pack on a few lately”. ..and voila Christian is all set with meals for the next 21 weeks.- Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
We should’ve gone on the camp.- What to do with Petracca?
Relax guys, he’ll fill out as the season goes on. This is just pre season light weight conditioning.- POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Geelong

The forward line is non existent and Gawn is having zero influence on games thus far. We also take next to no contested marks around the ground as opposed to almost every other side in the AFL. Regardless of form get Preuss in the side to not only provide ruck support, but allow us to sit a tall in the forward line and take a key defender. Work the small forward situation out, we currently have nothing to offer here. Until ANB learns to apply physical pressure get him out of the side! Aerobic, two way running my [censored] - means nothing if you aren’t willing to put your body on the line and win the ball.- The Writing Was/Is on the Wall
We played like rubbish and yes there are some worrying signs. However people quickly forget Port were sitting 4th on the ladder after Round 19 last year. They had a great hand on draft day and have recruited well...they are no joke.- Welcome to Demonland: James Jordon
Taking a player because you believe someone else may take them down the track goes against Taylor’s “best available” philosophy though. I have no idea whether the players we picked up will be any good or not, seems Taylor has a blue collar philosophy on recruiting though. He likes players that have to earn their keep. Small town types that will do anything to make it..- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MARTY HORE

The Beams trade is for pick 18 and likely pick 14-18 next year. 6 and 23 is a better deal, regardless of the the “first round” tag... in my opinion.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Actual footage of May training immediately after being traded.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
If it was Caramel Crowns you wouldn’t have been able to post that due to a supreme euphoric state.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Not really. He was asked whether we could get May without offloading Hogan to which he replied no. He didn’t bring it up to my knowledge. Simply being honest.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I know they’re just numbers but Jake Kolodjashnij was pick 41 in the same draft as Kade....stating the obvious, but there has to be something there that recruiters saw in Kade for him to be taken at 5. Lets hope so anyway..- Farewell Jesse Hogan
If the believed trade eventuates... Still leaves 8 spots by my calculations? Out: Hogan, Kent, Tyson, Vince, Pederson, Johnston, Bugg, King, Filipovic, Balic, McKenna. In: May, Kolodjashnij, Preuss. - What to do with Petracca?
