What to do with Petracca?
Itâs pretty simple really. Jordan Lewis rings his good mate Luke Hodge and says âHey Hodgy do you reckon you can hook me up with some Lite and Easy?â Hodge replies âthis isnât for Petracca is it?â âno mate, itâs for me, the kids have made me pack on a few latelyâ. ..and voila Christian is all set with meals for the next 21 weeks.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Geelong
The forward line is non existent and Gawn is having zero influence on games thus far. We also take next to no contested marks around the ground as opposed to almost every other side in the AFL. Regardless of form get Preuss in the side to not only provide ruck support, but allow us to sit a tall in the forward line and take a key defender. Work the small forward situation out, we currently have nothing to offer here. Until ANB learns to apply physical pressure get him out of the side! Aerobic, two way running my [censored] - means nothing if you arenât willing to put your body on the line and win the ball.

The Writing Was/Is on the Wall
We played like rubbish and yes there are some worrying signs. However people quickly forget Port were sitting 4th on the ladder after Round 19 last year. They had a great hand on draft day and have recruited well...they are no joke.

Welcome to Demonland: James Jordon
Taking a player because you believe someone else may take them down the track goes against Taylorâs âbest availableâ philosophy though. I have no idea whether the players we picked up will be any good or not, seems Taylor has a blue collar philosophy on recruiting though. He likes players that have to earn their keep. Small town types that will do anything to make it..

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The Beams trade is for pick 18 and likely pick 14-18 next year. 6 and 23 is a better deal, regardless of the the âfirst roundâ tag... in my opinion.
