  1. You assume correctly ”we don’t need more midfielders”
  2. I need to learn stay off the MFC social media pages, reading supporter comments. NFI.
  3. Man….if the Crows take Langford and we pass on this kid I’d be pretty disappointed. He was my preference over Langford, but I’m coming around the Langford because of his forward ability. Draper looks a polished workhorse. I’d be surprised if the Crows pass on him.
  4. Drive him straight down to Casey from the airport and let the magic take hold.
  5. Still got those flight risk nerves @Pennant St Dee?
  6. I'm convinced we'll take Tauru with 5 as well now.
  7. Swann said he would remain at Brisbane until they won a flag and rumoured to want to come back to Victoria.
  8. Anyone else seen The Middle 👀
  9. 5. Draper/Smith/Langford in that order 9. Tauru (who’ll be gone) so Allen or Travaglia
  10. Smith (6) and Armstrong (11)
  11. Hasn't scared us in the recent past with WA boys, but to hear this it's disappointing. I'd be really happy with Bo at pick 9, seems to have all the attributes of a great modern day midfielder.
  12. Best player i've played with.
  13. He is Trent Hotton's son.
  14. Dees have close ties through Trent and Richo’s relationship. Have been keeping tabs on Taj for a long time.
  15. Best mid available and Armstrong please.
  16. Christian Beischer
  17. This is also very true…
  18. He didn’t answer in the most convincing fashion having to pause and change his words when saying “Clazz is looking forward to….you know I’m looking forward to”. We’ll know soon enough…
  19. Awkward live interview with Viney form the B and F and channel 10 news. Reporter “(Oliver) met with Geelong, he clearly has some interest, have you spoken to him recently at all and what has he said?” Viney “yeah I’ve spoken to Claz and at this time of year there’s always you know trade rumours and this kind of stuff and players meeting with other clubs so I spoke to Clazz and he’s you know, looking forward to umm…” *looks awkwardly away to someone off camera ”..you know, I’m looking forward to him being part of the Melbourne Footy Club next year.” Reporter “and you’re certain he is as well?” Viney “I’m mean I’m not privy to list management decisions but my understanding is yeah, he’s a Melbourne Football player next year.”
  20. I’ve owned many Boxers before Bulldogs and they are a prime example of a breed with their share of genetic problems. (Yes i’m a sucker for an under bite). Unfortunately in most cases Bitsas > Pure bred dogs. Can’t go wrong with a mongrel.
  21. “In the 1938 Blue Book of Bulldogs, William Lawlor wrote that the Bulldog can be traced to 1210, the year of the first official bullbaiting in England. He added that the Bulldog “is generally believed to have come down from the same common stock” developed for that sport. That meant these dogs had to be tough enough to face down a mighty bovine.” No argument from me regarding selfish, obsessive breeding traits to the detriment to the health of a dog either SD. As stated in my original post this is particularly prevalent with French Bulldogs and Pugs of which many suffer from Brachycephalic Airway Obstruction Syndrome which is horrible. The sole reason for the development of the Australian Bulldog breed was to help alleviate the health issues of British Bulldogs particularly for warmer climates. The Aussie Bulldog is a taller, leaner dog with a longer ‘snout’ while still maintaining the “look” and beautiful temperament of the Bulldog. This can only be a good thing for the development of the breed, especially in this country. Like you I’m a dog lover and in particular Bulldog lover, so long may the breed continue, if bred responsibly.
  22. Bassett’s sniffing around for another Premiership.
