What they're saying down at Lakeside Drive
Ham replied to Queanbeyan Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Intrigued by the Fritsch comment, given that he is a Victorian... -
Rivers, he got the job on Butler and I'd back him in against Papley.
-
Like the changes, so long as Harmes plays 70/30 Forward/Mid and Smith plays as an intercept not a 1on1, give Wagner the 1on1.
-
Exactly. I see it that we either do one of two things. Go after a CHF (and Petty plays as CHB) Go after a CHB (and Petty plays as CHF) I would rather Petty in the forward line and go after a CHB. I see the key backs and forwards like this. FF - Weid CHF - Petty FB - May CHB - ?? (this should temporarily be T.Mac instead of O.Mac) Jackson to rotate through Ruck/Forward from the bench (clearly we like the Jackson/Weid combo very much). Lever is third tall / intercept defender - same as what Hore is (it's a real shame these two are the same age, would've been nice to have another intercept defender in the 20 age bracket). Oscar is a FB and cannot play as a CHB. Until May is done with his career, he has no solidified spot in the team.

Out: Jones, Spargo, Hannan In: Harmes, Bedford, Fritsch
-
Can someone shed some light how there was no 50m penalty paid when Jones (StK) was [censored] around and not getting off the ball?? Absolute [censored] take, it was no different to what Fritsch did and he was penalised 50m.

What they're saying down at Linton Street

If there was ever any need for further evidence that St. Kilda supporters are the biggest wankers in the league, there it is. Scum of the earth, [censored] wits.- 62 replies

Hore would come in and take the position that Tomlinson is... filling, right now.

It's a coaches role to best position each and every player for game day, if the/a player doesn't bring that, then it's the coaches role to mediate and draw a conclusion as to why. A coach CAN'T actually provide the effort that the players need to bring. Petracca's effort was abysmal, many times he was found just watching the ball and not chasing what so ever, especially when the game was still on the line. Goody can't change that, in the moment, on the day. All he can do is try and eliminate it going forward and stop it from becoming a habit.
-
I've wanted him dropped for half this season, Goody mustn't read our messages on here unfortunately..
-
I didn't think neither here nor there about Tomlinson today, but I don't rate him overall in that back roll and I think St. Kilda have more genuine goal scorers than what Footscray do. Spargo is heavily inconsistent, but the reason I chose to leave him in over Kozzie, is because Kozzie simply needs a spell, he is becoming quite undisciplined and needs to learn that doesn't go unnoticed. I feel as though that criticism of Harmes has come off the back of him being incorrectly played. I would love to see him get a run at what he has done so well for us in the past, forward/mid. I can't wait to see Kozzie and Bedford together again, just not this week.

Out: Sparrow (Inj), Pickett, Preuss In: Rivers, Bedford, Gawn - Harmes to go into Sparrows role. - Rivers come in to cover where Harmes has been in the backline. - Bedford to come in and replace Pickett. - Gawn to come in for Preuss. Few questionable as well; Spargo Tomlinson Vanders
-
Of course.
-
The first genuine opponent we play in weeks and we just fail. Can't wait to see Goody's best Bill Lawry attempt in the presser.
-
Games done, see ya later.
-
I'm surprised no one has said Jetta, he is right up there for modern players for mine. Past: Neitz, Robbo, Wiz Current: Gawn, Jetta, Jones
-
I excluded Smith because he doesn't fit into either of the two categories. He's been given minimal chance in an incorrect position for his playing ability and style. He's a forward half player, play him there. Once he has had the same opportunity as Hunt, ANB and both Wagners, then we can decide if he is up to it or not.
-
Let's exclude Smith. Every player in the out column has been given chance and has proven they lack consistency. Every player in the keep column has not been given enough opportunity to prove they have the consistency.

That was Josh you were thinking of then.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY

Would absolutely relish seeing him at CHB, we are screaming for another genuine 20-22 year old key back. -
Please, none of this tripe.

Haven't conceded more than 40 points in the last two games. Who are these flogs writing these poor articles? -
Great news.
