  1. There isn't a single bit of me that doesn't hope T.Mac proves myself and any other person who doubts his current / future abilities wrong. It's now been two years, anytime now Tom.
  2. It definitely was. As 'The Chazz' mentioned below, contract looming for O.Mac, likely he won't receive.
  3. Little thing called the 'twos' Riley.
  4. That's an amazing result for the big Preuss! Well done MFC.
  5. Would like to see Harmes rolling through the HF position in 2021 like he did in 2017 (14 G) and 2018 (15 G). But in any case, getting him the hell out of the back line would be optimal.
  6. Great young talent with a lot of upside. I personally think his best footy will be in the midfield, let's see what happens.
  7. Great once he was playing with LJ, really needs that support from another tall who causes concerns for the defenders. Unsure as to what SW and BB will look like, but here is hoping Sam doesn't just fade away and then goes somewhere else super cheap. I really do feel if he was developed / coached correctly, he would be so much more damaging, but the neglect the MFC has for getting a genuine forward coach is bewildering.
  8. Why would T.Mac be anywhere near the forward line? Hasn't done anything there in 2 years and has been identified by multiple MFC coaches and administration that it isn't going to work anymore. It's very likely he won't be at the club next year and if he is, it'll be in the 2s.
  9. Why make this thread at all? Given the team is different about 80% of the time each week.
  10. I view the point of this article as; We obtained better We got rid of [censored] So I will always think that acquiring Bernie was one of the best thing the club has done. But for the purposes of this article, what we did in getting rid of that [censored] Watts and getting in Fritsch, was top shelf.
  11. It doesn't particularly have a place on this list, but he's easily one of the best players we've brought to the club in the past decade.
  12. A player that we missed this year, he should and will be playing over J. Smith.
  13. 7/10 Great year, he appears to be really coachable.
  14. He is highly rated by Burgo, which is a great sign. Hopefully they get him right and he can become a dominant CHB.
  15. He has identified that watching and learning from Langdon is pivotal for his own game. That is a great showing of attitude from a young person in an ego-driven industry. 6/10, with lot's of room for improvement.
  16. Really glad we didn't land Smith. Move on.
  17. Big difference what we see and what happens within the walls of the club. Not sure how you can find it that perplexing, when every single successful club over the journey has players who have played a significant amount of games or spent a significant amount of time at the club and do so much for it culturally. Would love to see what a culture would look like under pure disillusion of what people mean to the club... oh wait, you're a Melbourne supporter, right? Rewind the clock... 10 years.
  18. Was perplexed as to why we brought him over to the club. Albeit some decent showings from a mature player, he isn't apart of the club's future and cohesion is too potent of an ingredient for success. Would keep him on the rookie list for depth, but wouldn't be playing him over other forwards if they aren't injured.
  19. He was being tried in the back line throughout the scratch matches. He's going to find it very hard to get a game in the seniors playing that position. Not sure what he offers us overall unfortunately.
  20. We need to sign him back up and not let Collingwood snag him.
