I don’t understand this ‘I’m cancelling my membership’ or even more so this ‘what other team should I barrack for’ chat… I get people are unhappy with our situation. I’m not thrilled either. But supporting teams is about riding the highs and lows regardless of the ferocity, volume and depth of the lows. Take yourself back to the evening of 25 September, 2021. The elation of that night had the years of Barry Prendergast, the post- Norm Smith years, the sad Robbie Flower years and the disappointment of the Daniher and Balme years all baked into it. If you’re going to disappear when we approach a LOW then frankly you don’t deserve to be involved in the highs when they come along…. I feel like I’m lecturing a bunch of 6 year olds so I’m going to stop now.

Can anyone tell me who/which table he was sitting on at the Brownlow?? Saw all of the insta photos of him getting his haircut and posing with some bloke I’ve never seen who appeared to be his +1 but I never saw him on the Dees’ table and nor was there any account of him on Gawn/Lever/May/Viney accounts or the Dees’ account?!

This is actually all bat**** crazy. After picking up the phone to Geelong knowing they had bugger to trade with AND they already had Bailey Smith in their sights, if Melbourne go “nah, we’re gonna keep him, we don’t like the look of what you’re offering” that would be the most outrageous, stupid and cruel (to Clarry) thing I’ve have ever witnessed in football. If we had a proper president Pert would get the flick in an instant.

We’ll be lucky to get just the future first with only a low contribution on his salary. We’ll likely get the future first and be forced to pay an eye-watering chunk of his salary for years.
