Do you think they care about CoVid right now, when ANother black person has been Killed whilst in custody. He didn't die. He was killed. And arrested firstly in a racist fashion. These people ARE, fighting for their lives. How many do you imagine... have taken their own lives, due to racisms, over the years.?

We were Top of the Pile We only have the Mcc to blame... cheapskates.

It seems the Mcc are starting to hear, our complaints and our criticisms of them... and it's about time they did, instead of fleecing our footy code.

Send it to Barack Obama. It couldn't hurt. If he ever visits Melbourne, he might drop by.? A coup-Dee-gras. -
em, interesting.!

Petracca getting more midfield time, instead of mostly on the flank. + Viney, + Oli, + Brayshaw... + occasional game time when he's ready, for Jackson. We don't have spaces for all of them, so some have to grow new skills. Harmes's proficiency inside, means he can go out, to develop further in the defence, for when we'll need him to do that, in our future. Totally agree, 'TPF39'.

A Lockdown Lesson: Old Footy Was Better

endurance, fatigue. full forwards have always been able to do that. your forgetting the size of the interchange, under 1990 rules dr. -
Liverpool players took a knee around the centre circle at Anfield in a message of support following the death in police custody of African-American George Floyd in Minneapolis. https://www.bbc.com/sport/52875059 Just a nice touch to this, in support of many opressed peoples around the world really. # Black Lives Matter..!

A Lockdown Lesson: Old Footy Was Better

Why!!! Why make even more changes to the rules of yesteryear, that produced those great games, of the 90's, and early 2000's... It was the rules/laws of the 1990 Era, that produced those great games of the following 15 or so seasons. So, don't make even more rules changes, getting further away from the 1990's rules. Just take the current rule book, and burn the bastard. Burn all new rules, dating back to 1991. Then let the game settle down, and see what we get back from that. -
Is this true.?
-
This is what we get, with all ex champion players taking all the front media seats. Their EGO's come with them, and then this flows down the line, to the radio jocks as well. Ego's everywhere.? To the ear pollution of most footy punters.

Yep, that's what I thought. That he wanted away from the glaring Melbourne spotlight. Too big a risk, with him hating the fishbowl and his ongoing injury concerns as well, plus the question mark about his training standards. I like the idea about looking for a big fish to trade into our club... but what about Tom Papley, or someone else? maybe some more speed onboard, with some recruit. I'm just uneasy about Big Joe.

Possibly 'EH'. But he (Weide) has to start as a tall forward to begin with, whilst Smith plays back, in my mind. As the season progresses, IF Weide is struggling for form, then we could swap the two of them, during a game. - - - - - I do not think we should rush Jackson into the side; as we've mucked up too many kids in our past, by not making them earn, and hold a position, in the team. Either they star, and having made it too easily, get a big head, and so a lazy attitude to the game, and our team.... or they struggle and get burnt by opposition, damaging their confidence and psyche.
-
Smith has missed so much footy, and is yet to establish himself in the senior team. Its best for him to start back, in defence, to find some form and confidence.
-
Yes, and particularly when the team will be announced. say Thursday/Friday nights.?
-
Here is another suggestion. Move our game day club rooms to the Southern stand, and have the 1/4 time, & 3/4 time address, over on the Southern side. Access to the rooms after the game, for members.

And this is exactly what has robbed the game, of those special highlight moments. The monster high mark, the 100 goal a season full forward, the Daicos's, the Jeff Farmers. etc. -
You build the work ethic first, the basis of culture, and add talents as they fall into the hard work line. To do the opposing ways, is to do the consistent Melbourne ways. and fall short again. Your concept of skills, without the guts and hard work, is the Daniher years. Fell short too many times, and then fell into a big hole, as the talents wore thin. Left us with nothing.
