I’m in the pies are in all sorts camp. I don’t see how they get to September with enough players ready to have a serious crack at finals. I can easily see MacRae and Leppitsch leaving the club in the next 1-2 years when it all gets too hard……At least that’s my fervent wish.
His tackle on the wing was the moment I thought he’d become an AFL footballer. He played out of his skin that night. Might watch that game again over summer.

I have Spargo in our best 23. He’s a smart footballer with good skills.
It’s also the luxury of having won 3 flags in the last 8 years. Club has been bold and snared a third of the first 24 picks. If you were a Tiger fan you’d be feeling pretty good right now. How it plays out is another thing, this draft is all talk atm. I’m guessing they’ll be targeting higher picks before the draft is over.

You could end up spot on and both Derksen and Jefferson will have long and successful careers. All I’m saying is that the odds are against Derksen and I don’t see it in Jefferson. I’d be stoked to be 100% wrong on both of them. Unfortunately for them I’m never wrong, maybe once but that was years ago.
All possible. For the record I’m not as bullish as others re: Jefferson either. Am I in trouble? 😂

The thing that worries me with these so called super drafts is in reality they only become super drafts 3-5 years down the track. There's been plenty of busts picked at 9. Whilst I trust JT to get them right we can ill afford to not nail the picks we get. There's no doubt 2, perhaps 3 standouts in the top 10 this year and I don't want Carlton taking the guy we're chasing. Twomey thinks we may try to trade our picks again, it's going to be interesting viewing that's for sure.
I don't think that's going to happen. I do think we'll see several changes over the next 12 - 24 months. Richardson, Pert, Green and likely several board members all possibly to be replaced.......total guess by the way.
Nothing would satisfy me more than watching Macrae leave Collingwood in tatters in 2 years with an old list, no youngsters and no first round picks, all the while we've gone all Baby Demons and won a flag.
