I was disappointed with this pick but effort, attack on the footy and an ability to help out in the ruck is exactly what this team need. If he does the basics well and can read the play there’s no reason he can’t become a useful helper alongside JVR and Turner.

If you seriously can’t work it out then I’m not going to waste my time explaining it. Ask your parents?

I love the fear of the 9 people who will no longer be able to walk their dogs despite the club only using a portion of the available land. The area is such a waste of land, we should be a no brainer.

So it’s fair to say that the MRC has limited to no involvement in any deal we’re trying to sign up to?

How on earth do we get to this point in negotiations if the MRC opposes us using the inside of the track? I simply don’t understand.

Don’t give me the freedom of speech argument. If being an ahole on a forum isn’t tolerated what do you actually see as the issue? The poster hasn’t been banned so there is no freedom of speech argument to be had.

I find the whole concept of private schools offensive. I find the government funding of them even more so. I guess that’s a different argument

That’s the thing I don’t get. A school with $195mill and then another god knows how much to build something. The world is completely mad.

As someone who looks after my body I’d love for him to work on his neck. There’s pain coming to that area at some point

The poster knows these players and they know her. They’re young and enjoying life. There’s absolutely no reason why they wouldn’t tell her what’s going on. You know she’s struggled with the overt criticism so just let it go. It’s not a sheltered workplace but you’ve got to understand you’re making it unpleasant for her. Maybe ask yourself what you’re getting out of trying to put her down? It just makes you a bully and a total tool.

At 19 you can get toasted and still play well the following afternoon. 😂

We usually rate players by their on field performance rather than the fact the club may or may not have wanted to select another player that may or may not suit the role of the player we have.

We missed finals by a couple of games with a depleted list. Hardly a long way back, although I’ll agree we were ordinary this year

Yee of little faith. If you take last years result and add Petracca, Oliver, Langford, Lindsay, preseasons into Petty, Spargo, a fit Salem, Bowey and May and then add another preseason into Windsor, JVR, Kolt, Turner and add Rivers to the midfield what exactly aren’t you confident about?

Kicking it to players in space, forward of centre. It hasn’t been our strength.

I’ve come around to the potential of this group over the last few months. It’s got 21 vibes written all over it. There seems a real excitement within the group to get season 25 underway. We’ve got an excellent top end and an incredibly talented group of youngsters coming through. For mine the fitness of May doesn’t hang heavy as it did last year with Petty going back. We’ve got Langford as the replacement for Gus, Windsor, JVR and Turner with another preseason and the opportunity for Oliver to once again become a midfield great. Throw in a fit Rivers and of course Petracca to the midfield and all of a sudden we’re top 4 again. With Gawn still at or near the top and the likes of Chandler, Bowey, Langdon, Salem, McVee, Sharp, Tholstrup and Spargo kicking into forward 50 there’s not a lot of weak spots in the team. Throw in a fit Pickett, a tweaked game style, an easier draw and a committed coaching line up and I for one am back to being very bullish about our chances. I also think Lindsay will be best 22 and with the extra run he and others bring there’s little to stop us. Time to win one at the G is now. Unleash hell Demons!
