  1. Hunter and Langdon both ordinary. Suns pick their way through. Regardless of what many think that’s a great win.
  2. Disagree, the Suns came hard and aren’t pushovers anymore
  3. Personally I still don’t understand why we can’t be incorporated into the Southern Stand upgrade. It would surely all fit and we can stay at goschs…..otherwise I’m all in for Caulfield
  4. You don't happen to know of a few more stocks that might be about to do that by chance?
  5. Really!! Someone actually did that?
  6. Salem comes back in after a Casey hit out. He'll kill it at Casey anyway. He's class and that's exactly what we need coming out of defence. I'd be shocked if the club wasn't doing everything it could to make sure Salem is fit and ready for the back half of the season, much like Viney in 2018. I stand by the article that will be written a few days after we win the flag about the mountain of work done to have a fit Salem. On song he's in our top 5 most important players and particularly against Collingwood we need him.
  7. Rest Kozzie, he’s done enough this week
  8. We should help Hawthorn sort their [censored] of a club out
  9. It’s bad management to drop Schache after one game I’d bring in Spargo for Jordan Petty for Hibberd Rinse and repeat
  10. Can’t believe Duursma only played 30 odd games for us
  11. The stadium doesn't need to be built on the waterfront on seriously unstable land. The total cost will go beyond a billion dollars. This is all about the corporate gravy train. Whilst I agree the introduction of a Tasmanian team in and of itself will promote the grassroots you won't see the growth that BB has had. Anyway let's agree to disagree on this as what's really important is how it affects the sport as a whole. For mine a Tasmanian team is a positive for the game and the competition. Personally I'd prefer we stayed at 18 teams and GCS were folded but that ain't going to happen so we'll likely end up with a 20th team. People say the talent pool will be smaller but if you look at the comp this year there's plenty of talent and probably 5-6 teams all in with a chance atm.
  12. There’s other options for a stadium that are much cheaper and 2 things. Albanese could easily spend that 240mill on public housing and the AFL could easily spread the money throughout grassroots footy in Tasmania. Both of those things are popular amongst the electorate. This stadium is as I said it was, another statue to corporate folly. It’s only the corporates who want this, they just don’t want to pay for it. Sounds familiar
  13. The stadium is being rammed down Tasmanians throats. Virtually no one bar a handful of corporate klingons and the AFL want this thing built. They want an upgrade to existing stadiums and money heavily invested at a grassroots level. The AFL no longer listen or care. They are now in the paid entertainment game and that involves corporate boxes, gambling and shiny new things. I'm bitterly disappointed in the Albanese Government already and this just continues a way of life most Australians don't care for.
  14. Jeepers, I lived in Napier St in the 90’s, drank at the Napier and ate at Mario’s every Friday. Great days, will return in about 20 years
  15. He's going to have to leave Freo to achieve his best. Darcy will remain no. 1 ruck and he's no forward. I get they offered him a fortune but didn't his manager say. "Mate, you're not a key forward and Freo have a first ruck, lets package you up to WC, remember they're professionals"
  16. We can't let Daicos pick up 40 possessions and kick 2 goals, thats just embarrassing. Lock him down and punish the Pies. We need to win the contest and the spread against the Pies or they'll beat us. We have to beat them. It'll give us the confidence going into the second half of the season where we'll win 17 straight and take the cup.
  17. I hope Schache realises he's about 3 bad games from not playing at the elite level. For some reason I feel a surprise coming on. Imaging a JVR, Schache forward half that worked.
  18. If he can take 9 marks, lay 3 tackles, have 18 kicks and kick 3.2 I'll call it a good game.
  19. Reading this makes me think we’re going to lose……which just won’t happen
  20. SCHACHE North off a 5 day break is the perfect break glass moment. Give him 3 - 4 games and we've either got a player or he's a Casey specialist.
  21. It's rare there's such a clear number 1 pick. Look at what Daicos has done for Collingwood. Without him they don't beat St.Kilda or Essendon. If we could get Reid to our HBF next year and he turns out as well as expected could you imagine how much better we'd be. Pick up Sam Van Rooyen down the order and away we go. Elite talent keeps you at the top, it's that simple.
  22. How good to watch 2 brothers play together in the forward line
