Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
He looks like one of those really annoying little [censored] who opposition fans despise as theyre so irritating but can tear teams apart ... ie. Milne, Toby Greene I'd love him at the Dees.... pick 8 might be pushing it however

Farewell Sam Frost
Agreed 100%

Brodie Kemp (drafted by Carlton)
True. I also have read in a few articles that Kemp will be available to play in the 2nd half of the season (if all goes well with his rehab). I really hope we draft this kid.

5 Demons to watch in 2020
1. Harrison Petty - showed some lovely signs when he was moved forward toward the end of the season. At 197cm and a great mark of the footy, he could be the KPF we have been craving. Too bad he missed the last few games, I feel a bag of 4 or 5 goals was looming 2,. Christian Petracca - after a very solid second half of 2019, Petracca goes into the preseason with his confidence up. Under the guidance of fitness guru Darren Burgess, Trac should (and I stress SHOULD) have a breakout season 3. Bayley Fritsch - could be on the verge of becoming a star. Has what it takes to kick 50+ goals and provide plenty of highlights along the way. Will be a very hard matchup for any defender. Thank god the coaches moved him back to the forward line where he belongs. Now please lave him there 4. Jay Lockhart - missed out on an AFL preseason, yet had some fine moments and kicked some crafty goals. I would give him first crack at the crumbing forward role depending how the preseason shakes out. 5. Jack Viney - after a subpar year, Jack will want to bounce back hard. He has another level to go to, and the new fitness regime will hopefully get his body right so he can fulfill his potential Feel free to list your players to watch

Sam Gray
Is he fast? He doesnt kick a lot of goals for a supposed small forward, but he has had some seasons averaging over 20 touches and averaged 6 tackles one season. If he doesnt have pace he wont help us.

Brodie Kemp (drafted by Carlton)
How does Kemp rate talent wise to the top prospects in the 2020 draft? If he is as good as advertised and the 2020 draft is short on talent at the top end and we can steal him at pick 8, the North pick in 2020 almost becomes irrelevent to me

Jack Martin
And in that case the Blues can have him. Has done nothing to deserve a high price
-
WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
He will be a nice link player for us. He doesnt get a lot of touches but he takes a lot of marks as he works hard to get into space. He wont set the world on fire but hes a professional role player.

Groundballs Inside 50
Trac equal 1st, wow. Equal with Ablett and ahead of every small forward in the comp. Cant wait to see what hedoes under the guidance of Darren Burgess.

2019 Player Reviews: #26 Sam Weideman
It is make or break for Weideman in 2020. if he doesnt take a big leap forward he wont make it... doesnt have the natural talent to be a late bloomer. That Geelong final seems eons ago now... he was brilliant.

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
Anyone got a highlight video of this kid? Good chance we swoop on him a pick 8 if you believe the rumours. He would fill a huge need for us (if hes good enough) Would be nice to have a star small forward at the club. We haven't had one since Jeff Farmer and he only had one great season anyway.

Jack Martin
Excellent. How many list spots open now I wonder?

Phantom Drafts
New mock draft from The Roar. geez I hope Kemp doesnt slip to Carlton at 10 https://www.theroar.com.au/2019/10/21/afl-phantom-draft-2019-an-early-top-30/
-
Hayden Young (Drafted by Fremantle)
I would take Young at 8. Superstar potential players only please at pick 3 - and thats Brodie Kemp.
-
Dees Plan to Turbocharge the Midfield
Hopefully we can have the luxury of resting Oliver forward for periods of a game. He has the skills to be damaging in forward 50
-
Brodie Kemp (drafted by Carlton)
Have to take Kemp at 3 if we want him, no way hes getting to pick 8. Three players seem to have superstar potential in this draft- Rowell, Anderson and Kemp.

Need for another ruckman?
No need for another ruckman as Austin Bradtke is now the size of three normal sized ruckmen combined https://www.instagram.com/p/B2Oe2bwpRvM

2019 Player Reviews: #23 James Jordon
This kid will be a fantastic player for us. The sooner he can break into the team the better, because Hibberd is unfortunately done it seems.

Splitting Draft Pick 3
We arent trading pick 3 for GWS and their 2020 1st rounder. Mahoney has made it clear with the North trade he doesnt rate the 2020 draft, which is also the most compromised in history. GWS 1st rounder in 2020 will be more like a pick 25-30 in a normal draft.

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
North Melbourne will be licking their lips. Top 5 pick for them next season if thats our forward line. Although you did forget Melksham.
-
Small forwards - what are our trading and draft options?
Hes not a small forward, and he played 2 games in 2018. Hes about the same level as JKH and Stretch. List clogger.

Poll: Who do you want with our first two picks?
Love the sound of this. If we arent picking a player at pick 3 that has star potential, we may as well throw the pick in the bin. Too many of the kids projected to go from 3-12 look to be very average, at best they might fill a role in a team if they make the grade. But pick 3 isnt for role players, its to get a superstar. Kemp or Serong for me at 3. Would be a dream to get both (realistically would be Serong 3 and Kemp at 8 )

Farewell Sam Frost
Of course they will, but they still arent winning one any time soon.
