Covid protocol breaches
No where near! staying in doors for a week if you test positive is hardly nowhere near. If you've covid you're probably sick and most likely not heading out anyways We have vaccines, no more lock downs, we're free to move around, go to games, travel internationally etc. etc. We've come along way from where we were

Covid protocol breaches
can't be sure of anything. If a club decides to cover something up then requires a lot of digging to uncover - see Essendon drugs scandal however they take the covid tests every day. not difficult to send in the previous days in error. Plus covid shows up on rats tests for a number of days so would require a major cover-up as i've said. And needlessly exposes the rest of the list to covid. btw the accuracy of rats tests is pretty sketchy. I've heard of plenty of people you passed the rats but failed the PCR. but thats another story

Covid protocol breaches
"The AFL says penalties were given for breaches including not undertaking a rapid antigen test (RAT) within specified time periods, and uploading an image taken of a previous RAT undertaken by that person or someone else" no suggestion that failed tests were covered up, quarantine rules breaches or anything that results in players playing that should not have played. Why would anyone be suggesting suspensions in these circumstances? The world is now living with Covid. Let's just move on shall we.

Jake Lever - You've done it again!
Rick is a great player and leader. Injury has hampered him this year but no question he is a potential future captain But I'm sorry. Showering him with praise because he executed a wobbly kick into the corridor when we need to score with seconds remaining is hardly next level out of the box thinking. It was exactly what he should have done. The only reason we are commenting on it is because we are usually so predictable this simple play seems so extraordinary. I don't think it was that special at all.

Lynden Dunn back supporting the Demons!
Not sure how amical the parting was with the Dees but Lynden Dunn is a good sort. I'm sure he barracks for the Dees

Farewell Luke Jackson
I believe it was Reece Bobby, Ricky's dad, that said this first

Ben Rutten
he got them into the 8 last year, a definite set back this year but he may still be the right coach. After 2 years i think they are better off putting better assistant coaches around him to see how he goes. otherwise you might be throwing away 2 years of investment.

The Run Home
I think it would be a miracle if anyone won from outside the 8

Kozzy Racially Vilified
Sad but that’s social media for you. A cesspool We all love you Kozzy. Ignore the knuckle draggers

The Run Home
We'll beat Brisbane next week. As soon as we apply some pressure they will fold like a cheap suit. They are the definition of a flat track bully Sydney will win handily and finish second on % So I reckon it's a QF at the SGC for us. And I'll be there if it happens

NON-MFC: Round 22, 2022
Normally I'll barrack for the result the suits us best but in this instance i don;t care. I just want to see the pies lose because i'm sick to the back teeth watching them win tight matches And yes, I hate them as well

Veil of Negativity
We’re not playing well. We’re not as fluent, in sync, as sharp as we were this time last year. I think our game plan has become stale, too predictable. There are tweaks required in the off season for sure. It’s hard work for the boys at the moment. But we have a team chock full of champions. We have gotten ourselves into winning positions in pretty much every game through sheer force of will. Maxy is an out and out champion. Viney, Clarry, may, petty. And we have class in kossie, trac, Frisch and now Melks through his brilliant renaissance. If we click good luck to the rest of the comp. And even if we don’t we have bucketloads of willpower. I doubt any team is looking forward to playing us in September. I’m giving us a 3/1 chance of winning it. If we fall short I’m sure it won’t be for lack of effort. I’m looking forward to the ride.

Veil of Negativity
Optimists v pessimists. I don’t care which one you are. I think you need both to get a full picture although I’m glad I’m an optimist by nature. I think it’s just as annoying someone telling you to just smile mate everything is honky dory, she’ll be right as it is someone catastrophising all the time. Some posters are over the top negative for sure, but I think these are balanced out by the optimists on the site. I don’t like entitlement (Hawthorn fans the worst in this regard). We were never going to just turn up this year and win it. Too many good coaches and teams in this league to allow that to happen The players are grinding and battling away. No lack of effort as far as I can tell. But our game plan is taxing. Very difficult to maintain the levels of energy and work rate required to execute it consistently. And we have forward issues. Blind Freddy can tell you that. I’m just going to enjoy the ride from here on. Head to the games and support the team, take the good with the bad, the positive with the negative. And if we lose I might post a rant on demonland. I thought that was the point of the forum. Let off some steam, respectfully of course

POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Hopefully that finish will spark our season. We’re very predictable. Our game plan is stale but we have champions in the team and we have heart. Btw my heart is buggered after that but I’ll recover give Melks a year extension now go dees
