What they're saying in their Polo Shirts at 42 Bishopsgate Street.
BDA replied to Doug Reemer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Every game is a danger game for us. That's just the way it is. Maybe next season we'll be mature enough to unconditionally turn up switched on for every game but we're not there yet. If we're not awake from the first bounce these down hill skiers will make us pay. -
Does Trac normally have his knee bandaged up like that? Can't say I've noticed it before

I thoroughly dislike West Coast supporters. I will derive great pleasure and satisfaction if our boys can stick it to them next Monday They are the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde outfit. On their day they can be world beaters but equally liable to embarrass themselves. We need to be switched on from the get-go. If we bring the same heat as we did against the Suns I reckon they will fold. -
Hard to believe the last time we played was just before the shutters came down because of Covid. The game itself shouldn't have qualified as a competitive fixture. It was a weird eerie game from start to finish

He's lucky to be alive thankfully he showed no ill effects and played out the rest of the game

Never heard of anyone getting rubbed out for an incident like this and never heard of anyone being injured as a result of an incident like this. I’ll wait and see what kind of judgment the MRP passes down but I’m struggling to see why this should be anything other than a fine.
-
Straight to the MRP is an overreaction. Holding someone down even if it is with the elbow to the side of the head is not striking and does not have the same impact.

PODCAST: Gary Pert Interview Tuesday 3/8 @ 8:30pm

what kind of shape are the financials in given we missed out on all our money-spinning games this year due to covid -
Next Monday night seems like an eternity away. Going to make for a slow week and slow weekend

To be fair I don’t blame some posters for being sceptical. It’s not like there haven’t been false dawns and botched announcements in the past.
-
I've mentioned this before but yesterday was just more evidence that the Suns are a soulless, pathetic waste of time and money. The sooner the AFL pull the plug on this doomed experiment the better. They are just throwing good money after bad
-
I think its a positive development. Not sure why the govt would bother tipping in to increase oval size if not part of a broader plan
-
Presumably the Weid on the plane in case TMac doesn't recover Viney and Harmes need to lift. Sparrow wasn't great. Jordon, Jonesy and Melks waiting in the wings should the opportunity arise.
-
Thought Clarry would have got the 10 votes (nit picking i know but i thought he was head and shoulders above everyone else particularly in the first half)
-
Fantastic news. Movement finally. 2021 shaping up as a very good year for the club
-
Reckon the top 3 will remain as is with Sydney in 4th. Swans a real smokey and no one will want to play them in a final. I reckon I’d prefer to miss top spot if the reward is a qual final against Sydney.
-
Hurt his back apparently
-
If the Weid replaces TMac will be very interesting to see how he goes as the second tall with BB. That was the intended set-up pre season before they both got injured

Freo's guernsey is an eyesore

I'm barracking for a Swans loss rather than a bombers win
-
The Lions go down to the Hawks. Glad its not just us that lose games to bottom 4 teams.
-
6. Clarry 5. Trac 4. Jackson 3. Brown 2. Nibbler 1. Bowey - a very nice debut
-
Not quite. Need the Swans to lose as well. If they do we'll be 2.5 games clear in Top 4
