The Giants suffer more injuries than any other team. They just can't consistently get all their team on the ground at the same time. I hope they are able to muster some more fight and make the cats earn it tonight. Worst case is an easy Geelong win. I want to face a tired and weary Geelong next weekend

Kate will ultimately be judged on whether she delivers a home base or not. In this regard her CV is impeccable. I don't think there is another man or woman more qualified for the job And I haven't seen her pushing a woke agenda either unless advocating for the women's team is considered woke.

I'm not against the idea of bringing Cerra in but it has to be on ours terms. We're not desperate so: Cerra has to accept a sensible salary Freo have to accept our 2nd rounder and future first. No player goes in the opposite direction (unless it's the Weid which i doubt they'll accept) The only way i see this happening is if Cerra is prepared to walk and force Freo's hand. I think his relationship with Freo is good so i doubt he would do this. Carlton still very much favorites for mine

Depends. If Geelong or GWS come out all guns blazing and beat us fair and square then i'll cop it. They are both capable teams and sometimes you get beaten by a better opponent on the day. We've had a great season no matter what. If we waste our chances and kick 8-15 on the other hand I'll be frustrated as all hell

A Bont love fest. A super player for sure but getting 3 times more votes than the second placed MVP is strange. Similar with the captaincy. Ben King or Harry McKay my preference. Keep our cap to cover one of those two.

I was more worried about GWS than Geelong but given injuries and suspensions I can't see the Giants winning through to meet us. I think the cats are done. We struck a huge psychological blow with our big comeback and after the siren win in Rd 23. We've broken them just need to apply the final blow. Doing so in a prelim will be sweet

The only changes we'll make from here on in will be because of injury. Reality is we don't have alternatives for TMac. Options are the Weid or Melks but they are not playing reserve footy. Can't bring them into a PF side and expect them to perform with no match practice. TMac must contest and bring the ball to ground. If he does that we'll be ok as BB and Fritsch will take the I50 marks and kick the goals for us

Great win. Poor goal kicking the only blot on the performance. That was a 10-goal smashing if we kick straight. There is a unrelenting focus and determination about this group. A QF appearance is a big deal but we took it in our stride and went above our business professionally. They are never rattled and even if the opposition get on top there is always a response. Everyone played their role. Team orientated all the way. 100% buy-in and belief in the game plan. Phenomenal coaching Simon Goodwin this year. This team is on a mission. Who knows if we’ll reach the summit but it will take a special team and performance to beat us. And I don’t see another special team in it. This is our year.
