  1. I was there. they were not louder than us. I didn't realise there was any Lions fans there at all until the 4th quarter
  2. The support was great last night I don't buy the narrative that we are a quiet fanbase. We're just as passionate and noisy as most other clubs (i acknowledge the pies fans are next level). And our cheer squad is excellent. I was close to them last night. they sang their hearts out
  3. I reckon we were still loading
  4. Last year we were able to defend leads, put the clamps on. This year the system broke. The pressure wasn't there, particularly forward pressure. And its been like that all year. Even when winning our first 10 games we were never comfortable. Mental, physical, I don't why our defensive structures failed.
  5. we are clueless going forward. Take a mark, stop, look around, chip and then bomb it into the pocket. It's third rate rubbish. We never play on, take a bounce or take the game on. No dare whatsoever. It's so hard to watch. Brains trust need to go to work in the off season . Create a plan which gives our players a chance to express their talent. there's no doubt the talent is there but out current gameplan is way past its use by date
  6. Iโ€™m gutted. Tuning out for the rest of the the weekend
  7. Sorry but thatโ€™s dumb chit footy
  8. Sorry but thatโ€™s dumb chit footy
  9. Why did dogga give the handball there. Hospital pass. What is may supposed to do
  10. Maxy atrocious tonight
  11. Thereโ€™s nothing in the tank folks
  12. We are clueless at the moment
  13. Sparrow disposal so bad
  14. Needed that goal Too much fumbling. neither team impressive. Cats wonโ€™t lose any sleep tonight
  15. ANB solid tonight. Hopefully gains some confidence from this
  16. Petty outstanding so far
  17. bottle job a footballer or football team who consistently collapse under pressure or blow leads
  18. Soccer fixtures have gone ahead in England tonight (Thurs night in England). Our game won't be postponed
  19. We'll win. The Lions are total bottle jobs and will fold again tonight Performance wise we need to lift. Get some sharpness and rhythm back into our game. No more fumbling Forward pressure please. If i see the ball rebounding out of our forward 50 i'll lose my [censored] ANB to find some kind of form. HE has not been good recently. Salem likewise. We need his accurate disposal off half back if we're to win a prelim or granny I hope Trac's guardian angel let's nothing further happen to his injured leg Need some real momentum before we take on the cats. That'll be a tough ask playing as we are Come on Dees. Produce your best in a final before the faithful. Remind the Cats and Swans what we're capable of See you all at the G later
  20. If we're going to win the lot then this is the team that will do it (Unless TMAC can get up to speed quickly). The Lions are our bunnies so best to leave the team unchanged and hope we find some form. And irrespective of whether changes warranted our not we will beat the Lions
  21. True
  22. Would you back Gawny, 20m out, straight in front to kick the goal? 50/50 proposition at best I love Gawny but his goal kicking is not reliable
  23. Gaye has been very good so far, hopefully the injury wonโ€™t keep her out too long. Will be great to have Goldie back though.
  24. We know what we are going to get with Schache and the Weid. More of the same. They are not magically going to become competitive beasts
  25. Great to win the flag last year. Phenomenal achievement. And we're still right in the mix this year despite not being at your best. I'm still hopeful The women are favourites to win the ALFW flag this year. Hope we do it for Daisy Still homeless and lag behind every other club when it comes to facilities. I know these things take time but the rate of progress is glacial.
