Neither of these teams will play finals thats for sure. Freo getting more of the pill but their ball movement is so predicable. Swans not very inspiring either.

I like this thread because i get to laugh and cheer on another clubs' misfortune. A misfortune that we get to benefit from. It's great fun. Petty and mean-spirited fun for sure but great fun, nonetheless.

Freo have beaten Hawks, Eagles and pulled one out of the fire against the Suns. Their form line is not good at all. Why do you think they'll beat the Swans at the SCG?

Eagles in a world of pain. Didn't watch the game but they must have been putrid to lose by 70 points at home to the Suns. Eagles supporters are quite arrogant, and I would have thought rebellious but there doesn't seem to be any supporter angst yet. Surely Simpson is on shaky ground. I'm sure our WA brethren are enjoying it though.

Huge credit to Balta. Hawkins hasn't been a factor in the second half at all.

Geelong winning the lions share of the contested ball but haven't been able to convert. Tiges have kicked straight and managed to keep the shackles on Cameron although Hawkins looks like he could cut loose. Geelong not out of this at all

Would love to see the Cats beaten tonight. It's unlikely though. Dogs will easily account for Carlton i reckon. doggies form much better the last few weeks. No chance GWS beat the pies.

The wheels of justice turn slowly but we got there finally. looking forward to JVR running out on Saturday. hopefully he kicks a bag.

The tribunal is obviously getting paid by the hour.

They're tanking SONS. I expect them to be decent early before falling away in the second half. It's been the pattern of their season so far.

Freo are terrible. Beating up on a putrid Hawks team doesn't mean anything. Swans' hardness was back on the weekend so I expect them to account for Freo by 30-40 points.

Cheers AF. Fortunately, my wife has no interest at all in AFL so I'm free to indoctrinate the kids without her running interference. I'd rather they stay in the doldrums for a long time as well. They seem to be a making all the mistakes we did during our tanking period so our wish may well come true. I hope it does. I don't like that club at all.

The Hawks are not much better than VFL standard at the moment so the brains trust might decide to play him for this reason. I think it's best to give him a couple of games at Casey. It's been a long lay-off for him coming on the back of a disrupted year in 2022. Give him time. A post bye return is plenty of time to have him in tip top fettle for finals.

I'm attending this one in a family Group. Kids and cousins (all Dees supporters) I want my kids early footy memories to be of us beating the Hawks. A bonus would be if we belt them. That would be good for my kids development i reckon. Hopefully instil a sense of disdain in them for that club and their horrible guernsey.
