The match day commentators insinuating JVR has a case to answer, the media following suit yesterday. Today all the commentariat saying MFC should appeal and JVR will get off. Weird.

We challenged a Fritsch suspension. 2020 i think it was.
  3. Swans pies game is being played at 100 miles per hour
  4. Freo have beaten Hawks and Eagles and their win over the suns was due to GC choking. Not an impressive form line. I expect the Swans to beat them without too much trouble.
  5. Great game Port v Bombers
  6. John Ralph just reported JVR likely to go straight to the tribunal. careless and severe impact he reckons. didn't have eyes for the ball he said. It looked an honest attempt to spoil the ball to me. And he very nearly did make the spoil.
  7. Thanks WCW. Well said. It's not what they did @dazzledavey36 its how they did it. The pies made a list management decision which it totally their right. Grundy has said that he felt totally disrespected by the club in general and McCrae in particular. I'm pretty sure the MFC wouldn't deal with a 2 time best and fairest the way the pies did but not a surprise. They have a track record of treating players shabbily.
  8. Rubbish 50 by Razor there. He's one of the better umpires but too often he inserts himself into the picture unnecessarily.
  9. Bombers monstering Port at the center bounces
  10. I'm wishing for a 100-point shellacking.
  11. It's almost, as if, supporters are never happy.
  12. Brodie Grundy is obviously a ripper bloke. Disgraceful the way the pies treated him. Their loss, our gain.
  13. Really good start to this game. 6 goals straight.
  14. Casboult was a mis match for him. He improved as the game went on.
  15. Port fans singing "never tear up apart" is as lame as
  16. My appetite for death riding this weekend was quashed. when I saw the hawks outs. I hate the Hawthorn footy club. Hopefully normal service resumes next week and the Swans give Freo a touch up at the SGC.
  17. If we can’t win 16 games given our double ups (thanks for pointing this out @Lucifers Hero) then we can forget about the flag. we’ll finish top 4. Top 2 will depend how we go against the other contenders.

Bollard copped a knee earlier in the game. I think we could argue that was a contributing factor to bollard getting subbed out. And I think it’s legitimate to question why he was on the field at all after that incident.
  19. A perfect example of the really poor decisions we were making. that was a very low percentage shot Trac took on. Squaring to grundy was the obvious option
  20. Spargo lowers his eyes. I reckon he should come back in. It's a tough call but I think chandler should make way.

I muted the commentary in the 2nd quarter. Dunstall was painful to listen to and always barracks for the opposition against us. Dermie is the same when commentating on Dees games. What is it with those ex-Hawks and the Dees. They are definitely biased against us.
  22. The GC mid unit of Witts, Anderson, Rowell and Miller (once he's fit) are a match for anyone. My opinion of the Suns abilities was clouded by the game they coughed up against Freo during gather round. I had serious hate for them after that capitulation. Credit to them they put in a huge shift and very unlucky to lose. If they can maintain this level of performance, they're a chance against most teams. Might even sneak into finals. The initial DL reaction to the win was overly negative, the reaction to the reaction has been give the Suns their due it was a tough win for us, a win is a win etc. I think the balanced view is not a bad as some make out but we were not at our best either. the defensive side of our game is not as reliable as it used to be. and we're crying out for a dominant KPF. Gotta be top of the list of priorities in trade week. The bit that hasn't been mentioned and luckily didn't cost us was we very nearly coughed it up in the last. We kicked 2-6 with Fritsch missing some straightforward shots. Defensively we gifted them some goals to let them back in. Trent Rivers in particular with a howler for their last goal. Our decision making was poor in the last I thought. Obviously fatigue a factor but we played some dumb footy in that last 10 mins I thought. Umps didn't help either of course.
  23. I hate the Hawks. Looks like they'll play Freo into form.
  24. Witts worth a vote surely
  25. Looking on the bright side, we won.
