  1. A major detraction with Preuss last year was his fitness - he was a solid unit - rather than being tall and lanky he was just scaled up in all three dimensions. This led to his poor mobility around the ground. While it feels like a century ago, I was struck in the pre-season by how much leaner he looked compared to last year. It was a shame he was hit with that injury earlier this year, but if indeed he's recovered as the practice match report would suggest, it would be interesting to see what he could produce this weekend if picked.
  2. No worries. More kms and form into Tmac, good opportunity for Action.
  3. Loving the kicks > handballs count for Oliver. It was beautiful seeing he and Trac bursting clear of packs and getting it on the boot tonight.
  4. Should have some very tasty ins back next week, while Collingwood are looking pretty ragged on the injury front. If we can clean up our disposal a little we're a good chance to trade places with them next week.
  5. Trac what a goal! The acceleration out of the centre. Sublime!
  6. Having watched Tmac's manoeuvrability last time he played Preuss would have to be catastrophically unfit for that to rule him out.
  7. He's got it!!! Jackson earns Rising Star nomination
  8. 4 weeks. We all know there's not an iota of a chance of that sentence being handed down if it were Dusty, Ablett, etc. And that's after a guilty plea??? Far out.
  9. Wow. 3 weeks would be absurd, surely. Players get merely twice that for thumping players in the face behind play.
  10. When kicking like tonight.
  11. Jackson for the Rising Star this round
  12. Can that guy in the helmet tell us what he's done with Brayshaw?
  13. Listen to this nuffie crowd complaining about blatant frees against the Crows!
  14. We're seeing two bottom 3 or 4 teams tonight. It is depressing how terrible we've become.
  15. He's been quiet these last couple of games.
  16. Salem's turnover there was terrible.
  17. Could this be the worst conmentary team ever assembled?
  18. Again with a balance-disrupting selection error.
  19. Ha! The last game I saw live. Buried within the Tigers' members area. That was fun. Not.
  20. Winning the next 2 games means nothing. Winning them and knocking Collingwood off might be in the right direction, but doing so with players genuinely putting in is essential. Even so, my concern is that this would all be a result of a collective backside kicking, and regression to the mean will occur before long.
  21. Hogan has a calf injury listed as "test" on the AFL app.
  22. Start by dropping TMac, focus on developing the Weid/Jackson forward setup, get games into Pickett so those wild shots on the run start going through the big uprights, win as many games as we can. With building form and confidence we'll go on a run through the finals from 8th place and lose the GF to West Coast in Perth by 89 points. The game will not be reviewed.
  23. For a while last night I thought they'd have to release an "All the Goal" video this week.

I agree. His value has evaporated. Surely it's that foot injury of his - having to soak it in a bucket of hot water before games to get moving according to TMac himself last year.
  25. May's comments about players needing to concentrate was telling. The interview was great - gave more insight into what wasn't working than a dozen coach's press conferences.
