  1. Ludicrous that this didn't warrant a suspension. It's a terrible look for the game. Imagine Mums and Dads contemplating a winter sport for their 8 year old to take up, and we have this cowardice going (effectively) unpunished. Nibbler gets 4 weeks for a sling tackle - a penalty manufactured by the AFL's wish to stamp it out; their inaction here and with the gut punches says they're happy for this to continue. High profile players are idolised - they should if anything be held to a higher standard than the rank-and-file players, not protected. Pathetic.
  2. That's fascinating. I might have to re-evaluate my confirmation bias as I too had the impression watching live that his kicking was errant.
  3. He also had a bit of niggle about him too which is appealing.
  4. Looked ok as a fwd last year, but he'd be well behind a fit & in form Weid / Jackson combo. Maybe down back as you suggest. Given May's age might be sensible to groom him for the backline.
  5. Interesting call, and a fair bit to like about it. Preuss was better around the ground than I'd expected tonight, and might pip TMac for mobility atm.
  6. Taking the pi$$?
  7. He was lightning quick to leap to AVB's defence of his collision with Mihochek. I'll give him a point for that. On balance though I'd be more than happy to not hear him commentate our games. He may feel conscious of perceived bias and thus overcompensates the other way.
  8. Love how he gets the knees up. Stopped just short of us seeing an AFL coach plant feet on the wall trying in vain to rip a railing apart on National TV. That would have been priceless!
  9. Both equally accurate assessments.
  10. Pert looks to be enjoying the win over Collingwood in the race as the players come from the field. Sweet sweet victory.
  11. My favorite team to pump. Well done boys. ?
  12. Milkshakes marks a 3 m kick then gets the 50. LMAO
  13. Beautiful, Fritta. My anxiety level has just reduced a notch.
  14. Cripes. Gawn, Jackson *and* Preuss injured??? How's Bradke going?
  15. Love Trac's confidence with 50m set shots atm.
  16. We're having a pretty good run with the umpiring tonight
  17. Wonder if tearing apart two terrible sides in a row has lulled him into thinking there's a fraction more time available. He'll come good in 2nd half I reckon.
  18. Feel for the Pies player - head hits Vander's elbow then first part of body to contact the ground. Hope he pulls up okay.
  19. Need to capitalise on this start. Come on!
  20. Would it be possible to fit another "strong performance" into a paragraph of that size?
  21. Thought perhaps Lockhart might have come in for Harmes, given Rivers has looked great. Unless they have tagging ideas in mind for Harmes. I hope Viney's return doesn't disrupt Brayshaw's recent midfield form too greatly.
  22. I recall the revelation of the neck as the root cause at the time. I hope we didn't rely on reports by GC medicos on that matter.
