  1. He was lightning quick to leap to AVB's defence of his collision with Mihochek. I'll give him a point for that. On balance though I'd be more than happy to not hear him commentate our games. He may feel conscious of perceived bias and thus overcompensates the other way.
  2. Love how he gets the knees up. Stopped just short of us seeing an AFL coach plant feet on the wall trying in vain to rip a railing apart on National TV. That would have been priceless!
  3. Pert looks to be enjoying the win over Collingwood in the race as the players come from the field. Sweet sweet victory.
  4. Beautiful, Fritta. My anxiety level has just reduced a notch.
  5. Cripes. Gawn, Jackson *and* Preuss injured??? How's Bradke going?
  6. We're having a pretty good run with the umpiring tonight
  7. Wonder if tearing apart two terrible sides in a row has lulled him into thinking there's a fraction more time available. He'll come good in 2nd half I reckon.
  8. Feel for the Pies player - head hits Vander's elbow then first part of body to contact the ground. Hope he pulls up okay.
  9. Would it be possible to fit another "strong performance" into a paragraph of that size?
  10. Thought perhaps Lockhart might have come in for Harmes, given Rivers has looked great. Unless they have tagging ideas in mind for Harmes. I hope Viney's return doesn't disrupt Brayshaw's recent midfield form too greatly.
  11. I recall the revelation of the neck as the root cause at the time. I hope we didn't rely on reports by GC medicos on that matter.
  12. A major detraction with Preuss last year was his fitness - he was a solid unit - rather than being tall and lanky he was just scaled up in all three dimensions. This led to his poor mobility around the ground. While it feels like a century ago, I was struck in the pre-season by how much leaner he looked compared to last year. It was a shame he was hit with that injury earlier this year, but if indeed he's recovered as the practice match report would suggest, it would be interesting to see what he could produce this weekend if picked.
  13. No worries. More kms and form into Tmac, good opportunity for Action.
  14. Loving the kicks > handballs count for Oliver. It was beautiful seeing he and Trac bursting clear of packs and getting it on the boot tonight.
  15. Should have some very tasty ins back next week, while Collingwood are looking pretty ragged on the injury front. If we can clean up our disposal a little we're a good chance to trade places with them next week.
  16. Trac what a goal! The acceleration out of the centre. Sublime!
  17. Having watched Tmac's manoeuvrability last time he played Preuss would have to be catastrophically unfit for that to rule him out.
