The DA tent was fantastic. Swung past for a snag twice, and one of my kids was delighted to devour a "Petracca" cupcake. Thank you WCW and all of the Demon Army for your contribution to today - I hope it was lucrative - and throughout the season.

When you're baking in the sun with negligible shading around the ground, queuing for a quarter for a bucket of hot chips, and the scant elevated seating is off limits to the public, that did come across as a bit silly to me. Maybe the Mayor of Casey dropped past at the time.

Looked like ankle. In a fair bit of discomfort heading off the field from the far wing.

Oh no. Clarry hurt. Going off with trainers.

Ripping left foot snap from the boundary for a goal by CLARRY!!!

Windsor back out there. Phew.

K Brown looking promising. Love seeing Fritta lay a tackle even if it is high.

Bugger. This preseason can GAGF. Really like the prospect of Turner and hope he can get back for a strong back half of the season.

I'm assuming Jack Viney came in at 11?

And wear a belt for Christ's sake.

The only thing he did after that was curtail Trac's attempted centre clearance to stop a 4th goal in the final minute of the 3rd.

Ha, yeah. Offer a player a $7-mil 7yr deal that you only rate as being worth pick 13. Pull the other one Riccuto.

Kinda wierd to me this persistent narrative that individual players need multiple flags to be considered "greats". Flags are won by teams. Apparently from here Trac could round his career out with a couple of Brownlows and some BnFs to go with his already glittering trophy cabinet, but nope. Apparently it's a 2nd flag or bust.

He'll be out for that ridiculously branded "Round 0" where we play the Swans up in Sydney.
-
Hahahaha thanks, that was great to re-watch. Knowing how it all pans out through the finals it makes me chuckle that a few in the media went with the ol' "they over-celebrated" the win after that game.

Wasn't the discussion with Oliver's hammy last year that even a bad hamstring injury can be run on after a few weeks, it's the full effort running that takes longer to get back?

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 12th February 2024

My worry is what happens should he bend down to scoop the ball up. -
Yes. Do Collingwood win the grand final without the pinpoint set shot goals from De Goey and Sidebottom at important stages? Probably not. We need to nail those critical moments.

I'd forgotten how immense Trac's physique was even as a new draftee. An absolute bull.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/4K_resolution Regular high definition displays have approximately 2000 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high. 4K displays have approximately 4000 by 2160 pixels, or 4 pixels for every one pixel on a regular HD display. More pixels means more detail in the displayed image. This is helpful on large displays. E.g. an 80 inch TV is something like 180 cm wide. If HD, every pixel is approximately a millimetre square, so if you are close to the screen you may be able to make out the individual pixels. In 4K those pixels would be approximately half a millimetre square.

Yes but would he crawl over broken glass. That's surely the real test.

Another good omen is that our last 5 grand final appearances (1960, `64, `88, 2000, `21) were all Summer Olympics years - so too is 2024. 😆

My kids got those Oodies for Christmas this morning!
