OUT: Melksham, Dunstan IN: Bedford, Viney Lots of wait and see though with injuries and players potentially being available.
-
Guessing - But looked like he possibly sprained his ankle twice. Not 100% sure if the same leg, or even if he just twinged the existing injury the second time. Reckon he'll be right to go, played out the game.
-
Not sold on that mate. 7 touches, 1 tackle. Kicked a nice goal, but was invisible pretty much otherwise.
-
Goody said Harmes would be out 2-3 weeks.
-
Reckon he's been playing injured/sore since early in the year. Not sure at this stage this is a huge enough issue to be starting threads about. But it was a bit of a vanilla game again this week, so probs fair enough.

Rib injury for Langdon confirmed.

Could even be: Brown Dogga Weid Brown Pup Gawn

I call five and now have the current highest bid.

Yes really. I'm interested in why you think a footy team should look for 'payback' in the context of them learning that from Indigenous culture.
-
Bizarre comment hey. Care to explain at all?
-
It's the worst team in the leagues' home game...
-
Wouldn't think so. Goody doesn't really bother with positions on the team sheet.

In: J.Melksham Out: J.Harmes (hamstring), K.Chandler (suspension)

Love everything the club has done with all this. Not a complaint, as I understand how delayed logistics are at the moment, but would have been great if they could have made the Narrm merch available a little earlier. I ordered some within minutes of it being made available and doesn't look like it will arrive in time to be worn for at least our first game and potentially the second. Would have been amazing to see Dees fans decked out in Narrm gear.

But not an indictment on us for offering him up for nothing?

Chandler accepts two-match sanction

"As the name ‘Narrm’ is being translated from oral language, there are several variations of the spelling. Narrm, Naarm and Nairm are all commonly used and accepted." Welcoming Narrm Football Club

Does that mean what Ryan did was infinitely worse than what McGovern did?

If he does happen to go, I can't see us in our list situation being able to offer anywhere near what a rival will tbh. Pert has already talked about players taking cuts. Cerra is 22 and wasn't a free agent, not sure it's comparable. But a 'good deal' is really dependent on how those picks turn out and what impact they can have to replace the unique things Jackson brings that has seen us win a flag. We're in our window now, sure plan for the future, but maximizing our current list ,including 4 key position players who only have a couple of years left, is vital IMO. 100%!

Have we lost him? Haven't seen that anywhere yet. Goody said it was tightness and they were hopeful for this week, although that was post-game and pre-scans of course.

Your stills are tiny fractions of a second, that was my point in showing you alternate stills. They don't represent the incident as a whole, as you said yourself at the start of your post. Sure, he turns him slightly - but he turns him towards the ground, not away from it. Hawkins turns his opponent away from facing the ground. It's borderline, probably could have been a suspension, but that's the main difference between that one being borderline and Chandler's likely resulting in a suspension.

You can't cherry pick 2 frames out mate. And what you've shown there is if there's any 'turning' it's turning his head towards the ground. Have watched the replay a fair few times now in the meantime and those frames you've picked out are not indicative at all of the whole incident IMO. To contrast your two frames, here's another two:
