Merely said Tomlinson "could" get back into the lineup to free up Petty forward, didn't say he would. Was fantastic in early 21, and looked like he had found his niche. You never know what can happen, and we don't need a gun player in that role anyway.

Not for mine. Tommo could though, think we sometimes forget how good he was in 2021 before injury. Disco is a fave of mine, but I wouldn't have him in Petty's role along with Lever and May. I think you need 2 gorillas and 1 intercept player for that big 3, and I think of Disco more as the intercept type, maybe even more like a tall half back type, rather than a key back. I wouldn't be totally against having a crack at a back 7 of May, Lever, Tommo, Disco, Bowey, Salem and Rivers though (pending Petty forward).
