  1. We both now there's 0 chance that happens.
  2. Sure a player can nominate a club, but again the player does not in any way determine the deal, that's done by the clubs themselves.
  3. The player has 0 say in what trade deal is done between clubs.
  4. You can be disappointed we're losing a talented player without having personal cracks at someone you've never met and know nothing about. These comments are just so poor.
  5. Casey upgrade, Gosch's upgrade, Santa Teresa progress...
  6. I think he might surprise a few next year.
  7. Cool story fossil.
  8. We've ditched plastic cards in no small part due to sustainability but you want to give out thousands of plastic novelties each game?
  9. You literally titled the thread "It's the culture". But ok.
  10. Seriously? Read the first post in this thread again, you know the one that blames our "culture" for a failed year.
  11. Right, so our "culture" totally dissipated in one offseason? Sorry, it's a cop out argument. Same type of argument as when angry supporters blame lack of effort, which generally comes from the "kick it long" types.
  12. No, I don't like this explanation because it's a cop out to blame one factor, and "culture" is so often that one factor supporters go to.
  13. When you can't be bothered going over the full context and grey areas of our year, different impacts of different factors, just roll out the classic "culture"...
  14. And turnover wise: 2022 - Was 3rd for us for turnovers playing in the backline, lifted to 2nd by end of year after going into the middle. 2021 - Was 10th for us for turnovers playing on the wing.
  15. That's not where he best serves us though. We have plenty of good half backs and Gus' turnovers (he ended up averaging the 2nd most for us for the year) hurt us more in the backline. We traded and recruited specifically to address scores from back half turnovers so I don't think you'll see Gus there next year. Was far more impactful for us as a team on the wing, and is a good clearance winner, so for mine his best role in contributing to the team is wing/mid.
  16. Looooong way out, but I reckon our 22 could look something like this by about mid-year in 2023. JVR and Howes are big watches for me next year. I reckon Howes might make it as a winger eventually, so that would mean Gus rotates around more when Trac goes forward. B: Lever, Petty, Rivers HB: Bowey, May, Salem C: Langdon, Petracca, Brayshaw HF: Neal-Bullen, McDonald, Pickett F: Fritsch, Grundy, van Rooyen FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney IC: Spargo, Sparrow, Howes, Jordon
  17. Nah, no mention of him in that article.
  18. Just saying he wants an answer soon re: Rory Lobb (Western Bulldogs) and out-of-contract pair Blake Acres (Carlton) and Griffin Logue (North Melbourne) are all exploring their options and have been linked with Victorian clubs. Then: Longmuir was less willing to engage about the Dockers’ interest in Jackson, saying it was not “the right time to be talking about it”.
  19. TMac.
  20. Just classic you to roll with the massive changes based on your emotions. You're a good fella, love your passion.
