  1. The article you guys are talking about isn't listing his salary at the Dees or his expected salary at the Dees, and it says right off the bat the clubs generally have to pay overs to lure someone away. "Luring a target out of his original home typically forces the new club to pay overs, while destination clubs are often happy to pay even more for free agents knowing they won't have to part with a draft pick." The price you have to pay: All the top trade targets and their market value
  2. Polec for TMac is gathering momentum apparently. Didn't expect that, thought North had already said no, but maybe they're that keen to get rid of him.
  3. Your mail is good/different.
  4. I said 5, but I'd trust Dannyz word, has had good mail plenty of times.
  5. I like Hannan, but does he have the tank for the wing? Seems more of a 'burst' player who drifts in and out of games. I guess anything is possible with a big preseason tho.
  6. His agent has already come out and said he wanted to stay.
  7. And take attention away from the award winners? Not sure on that logic.
  8. Missing the point mate. The Rising Star award doesn't define a players career or the context of what their importance to their team is and will become.
  9. Well there you have it. Hogan named Rising Star (ahead of Cripps) for 2015.
  10. Same people likely bag Oliver for getting rid of it too quickly...
  11. Just putting it out there as an option. Currently out of contract, Eagles offering a 1 year extension but nothing close to being formalized yet. Would we consider tempting him over with a 2 year deal, potentially with a coaching offer post-retirement? There's other options ahead of him of course, but would be a relatively cheap option that would cover us while Weid and Jacko develop further. Bit like the Lewis trade in a way.
  12. Hmmmm..... Robbie D’Orazio. 2 years to go on contract. Huge contract offer. Petracca?
  13. Would guess they're all going separate ways now maybe? Some are already back, but others may have stayed for a break or gone somewhere else for one.
  14. Hard to gauge anything from the Bluey I reckon. Looked like a super low key, casual, quick event and it was apparently held on Tuesday, so would have been the day some blokes were delisted and possibly some coaches fired, on top of missing finals. Plus, with TMac in the room sans MFC polo and the Bennell situation, would have been awkward in there I think.
  15. Haha didn't wanna stress anyone out! I heard it was immediately shut down so didn't think it was worth mentioning.
  16. Didn't think it was worth mentioning tbh. I messaged it to another Demonland poster a few hours ago though actually.
  17. Multiple threads, but will put it here too: Carlton made an approach to Melbourne about Oliver, it was obviously not even considered. The 'unhappy' part I think might be made up.
  18. Carlton made enquiries to Melbourne about him. He's not going anywhere though.
  19. Haha come on mate. Did you ignore 10 and 13?
  20. Word is, 5 year deal, locked in.
  21. Could be a tie? Max and May, then Trac 1st?
  22. Few people are saying this was actually held last night as the players left the hub this morning. Truth or BS?
  23. Not a ton of them there. Looks like a pretty small, informal night. Plus, the on-stage mic wouldn't pick up much of the applause. Also, bloody love Mayzie.
