had plenty... other than the swelling/pain and loss of mobility for a few weeks, not that bad.
-
That was Trac.

Not the same hand that Joel Selwood kicked a few years back i hope. That seems like it has never gone away.
-
Sure he may get up to play a game here or there, but the doubts are around a sustained presence in our forward line.

Pies will go 0-4 and will drop out of contention.

What drives me nuts is how agreeable the media is with this decision and yet were nowhere to be seen with Maynard’s hit. Nobody was prepared to stick their neck out, which has to say something.

2024 AFL restricted and unrestricted free agent list
Gawndy the Great replied to Pinball Wizard's topic in Melbourne Demons
Tim English is the only one I’d chase. But if they sign JUH then all signs point to English leaving for WCE. -
I hope he can follow in the same footsteps as the great man. But he has had several consecutive soft tissue injuries. Doesn’t bode well.
-
Will McAdam ever play a game? There are whispers that he is body is failing to hold up to the rigours of AFL footy.
-
Yep saw this as well. He is a bit stubborn. Didn’t hesitate for a second to give Freo a top 4 seeding though. I always thought Montagna had a better read of the game. He usually takes a longer view and doesn’t flap in the wind like Kingy.

Seriously how many current and ex Demon players on that list.

Sydney complaining about Essendon tactics off the ball...
Gawndy the Great replied to Ouch!'s topic in Melbourne Demons
His complaints will attract more attention from opposition clubs as it has clearly upset them. Watch this space. -
Great news. Hopefully he is right to go against Port. I think Lever's organisation of the back line is an often overlooked trait of having him back there. He can help cover the role May plays. I think Tommo has to take Dixon. He gives a way 5-6cm but Dixon is slow and predictable. He can easily zoned off. Its Marshall and Finlayson that you have to cover. For me, TMac takes Marshall and Lever to Finlayson. We can pull back Petty only if required, but that comes at a cost to our forward line setup.

To me the key is stopping Butters and Houston without compromising our game. We let Butters run wild last year and it cost us big time. Hopefully we are a little more prepared for defending his movement patterns. Adelaide look a little lost for me, they werent the package i was expecting this year so far. There is a good chance we walk from our visit to SA 2-0.

No major announcement re:Lever makes it sound like its more on the minor end and his subbing off was more precautionary.
-
Sure ok, but we are missing 3 of our starting back 6.
-
FFS every year it is something new. Gawn, Petts, Fritta, Salo and Milkshake last year. This year May, Lever, Bowey so far.

Sydney look so damn fit. Great ball movement and highly skillful.

Back in the top 4

Tommo to come in for May and take the big man Dixon. Hore takes Lever role. Tmac takes 2nd man. Petty stays forward but can swing back in case of emergency.
-
Lever looks to have hurt his knee. Geez I hope it’s not an ACL. It looks innocuous and he doesn’t seem too worried. But they are not risking it.
-
May not sitting with the defenders in the change room in the last cross over. Hore still had jumper on though.
-
Yeah it’s fn pathetic. Give the Dees some freaking credit.

Serious can we do away with edge and just call it snicko? It’s such a better name and so Australian.
