I don't want to labor the point re: injuries, but do want to call out some facts that people can overlook. When we lost to Brisbane at the G; WC in Perth or Freo by almost 100 points we were pretty much playing with our full list inc Gawn, Petracca and Salem. I also don't profess to completely understand the real reasons behind 2024 but am sure that injuries didnt have as a significant impact as many believe.

We have the 3rd least played games lost to injuries before this round. Think of Collingwood, Lions etc. They have twice as many games lost due to injury than us and are sitting above us. It is not the injuries.

I reckon LJ will be better than what he is right now but not as good as many have claimed in the past. I’m happy with the players we effectively got for him. The only downside to it was the time lag we will have in experiencing the benefit of the players we received.

I look at it and think the opposite. We really just the worst season to go off kilter. Our ‘22 and ‘23 form would have had us favourites I think. Lions the only real team to beat

Here’s a novel idea. Why don’t we use Pick 6/7 and target an 18 year old with the same foot skills? Play him off HB for the first couple of years and then move him into the midfield rotation.

Well obviously. But to call it out after a game on Saturday is a bit strange. Definitely need a review of the whole FD. We need a new method, game plan and a whole set of coaches who can work some magic. TBH this should have been done last year. 2024 was a wasted year. We achieved nothing but blooding a few young ones.

When and how was this decided? Did the board hold an emergency meeting? It was it off the back of if we don’t make finals? I just find this a little unusual.

100%. If it’s genuinely his hand - send him to surgery. Finals is a busy now so pull the trigger on all surgeries pronto

Oliver’s hand has to be the excuse . So if he cannot handball or tackle, then why is he out there? Seriously it is so glaringly obvious he does not belong in the starting line up.
