Lots of love to Neale and all other sufferers of MND. A cure can't come soon enough for these courageous people and their families. Thank you to Neale for being their voice and bringing the attention needed in the fight against this terrible disease.

Good to see Neale fighting on. Hope he keeps going for many years to come, and a cure is found for MND. His efforts have enabled much needed help to be given to sufferers while waiting for the breakthrough. Hopefully it comes soon for them and their families.

All jokes aside, (and there are some funny ones here), but this just ridiculous. This must be coming from someone sitting in an office who feels the need to justify why they are being paid big dollars, by dreaming up another unnecessary scheme to spend money for no apparent reason. Let's pay some firm a lot of money to come up with a different logo. WHY? What exactly is wrong with what is in current use? If they really want to persist with this idea, why don't they ask school kids to design a logo and reward the winning school with a generous donation towards their sports program. There are many talented young people out there who will surely come up with a great design just as good if not better, than some business people looking for a big payout.

My goodness, looking at Jack Watts on the front of the Herald Sun before his first game on the Queen's Birthday was a shock. He and his classmates look like 12 year olds. He was a baby thrown to the wolves.

Yes, but out of all of the sides you want to see Melbourne beat, it is Collingwood. Losing to them and putting up with their feral supporters is a pain in the proverbial. PLEASE PLEASE WIN BOYS !! For my sanity.

I don't understand this. Why are grown men feuding?

Biggest Surprise & Disappointment of 2019
Dame Gaga replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I have been a big fan of Marty since meeting him at the Family Day and so happy he has played so well. A very pleasant surprise! Disappointment? Not being able to see May show us what he can do on the field this year. Hope he can play soon. -
Unfortunately ruckmen don't win Brownlows. (Unless they are Big Jim). I would love to see Max win one, but I can't see it ever happening, no matter how good a year he has.

I really cannot find anything more to say. I'm too depressed.
-
Yet it was OK for opposition supporters to abuse Melbourne supporters with their children at last weeks game against the Giants at the MCG. Good on you AFL. Proactive as usual. Hypocrites.
-
Marty- Don't be injured! Salem- Don't be sick! MFC- Stop missing goals!

Wasn't it nice to see the South Australian umpire have a cosy chat with Lynch about why he gave a free kick against him right before the siren of one of the quarters (can't remember which one, the whole game is a blur). So impartial! BLAH!!!
-
16 behinds. You are killing me Melbourne. I am losing my love of the game. Umpiring terrible as per usual. Since when was contesting for the ball considered holding the man? They are footballers, not Tinkerbells.
-
Another nightmare.
-
Someone take ownership of the ball instead of looking for someone else to do it.

Walker couldn't captain a one man rowboat because his ego wouldn't be able to fit in it.
-
A free kick in OUR forward line would be nice.

Intervention session with fellow scarred old timers?

I didn't hear what was said, I only saw it in passing, but did Roaming Brian interview Chamberlain and Margetts in the rooms after the game last night? What was that all about? Couldn't he find anyone else to talk to? Can someone enlighten me on the content of the interview.

Is Marty playing?
-
Oh well, now nobody has to argue about whether he should be in the side or not. Plus, he probably didn't want to go to Darwin. Too hot for an older body. It drains what little energy you have left.
-
No, no, no. This is terrible. So young and with two little boys. Sincere condolences to Brad, his family, his wife's family and their friends.
-
These loud mouths were lucky they were only picking on family groups with children in a non alcohol area. Otherwise it could have got nasty. Plus, can I say, on the whole, Melbourne supporters are not in the same category as Collingwood and Richmond fans? Or is that non PC?
-
Well, I was wrong, but looks like he only did it because he wanted a holiday.

Miles will get fined for staging. Ablett off.
