What they're saying down at Kardinia Park
Dame Gaga replied to Queanbeyan Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Should we really have to give a rat's toss bag about what the farmers down at Geelong think about anyone? -
"Essendon says it won't let another saga cripple it's season" Oh, really? Who put them in charge?
-
I've lost count of the people (mostly young) who have said to me, it's just like another flu, I'll be ok. Yeah, you might be, you dodo, but others won't. ?

Charlie was being politely reminded not to breach any COVID-19 rules again.

The players weren't switched on at all. It's as if they were somewhere else.

On the 12th of June a Sunshine Coast man tested positive in W.A. after his work insisted on him getting a new test, despite already having spent 14 days in quarantine. I don't think 14 days is enough. This virus is an unknown. It is constantly mutating in order to survive. I fear we are going to be stuck with it for a long time. What a curse this virus is. As well as causing death and heartbreak, it has sucked out any joy of life. The football season is gone.?

Ricciuto has no right to discuss the value of any trades their club has made and reveal dollar amounts of contracts, whether true or not. He should keep his mouth shut and worry about his own team which has a myriad of problems, most of which seem to have occurred while he has been at the helm. Loose lips sink ships, Mr Director.

Watching the news tonight I heard someone say something relevant to this subject. "The only good thing coming out of South Australia is the road to Victoria." ?

About Brayshaw: I believe the concussions he has suffered in the past may have affected him. There are ample medical research results published about the effects of even one knock to a person's head, let alone multiple hits, as can happen to sports players. People who suffer concussion often do not recover quickly and can continue to have lasting effects on their brains. According to Dr. Maryse Lassonde , a neuropsychologist who undertook research on the long term effects concussion can have on athletes in Montreal, even when the symptoms of a concussion appear to have gone, the brain is still not 100 per cent normal. Results of visual and auditory tests, and tests of brain chemistry, of athletes who had suffered from concussion, showed there is abnormal brain activity for years after a concussion, as well as partial wasting away of the motor pathways, which can lead to significant attention problems. "This may also lead to motor problems in young athletes." Other doctors and researchers talk about multiple concussions causing long lasting symptoms such as "foggy thinking", anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, memory problems, difficulty concentrating, low concentration, on top of the physical effects; headaches, fatigue, sleep disturbance, pressure in the head, dizziness, nausea etc. Perhaps Angus has been affected more than any of us know? I hope he improves in his health most of all. To get back to his best football would be a bonus for this fine young man.

Umm, it was tongue in cheek...?

Come back Frosty. All is forgiven.?

What a disappointing win. I feel sick. The whole season 2020 should have been cancelled. Would have been better for my health. This whole year is write off anyway. Stress overload.
-
I don't believe this [censored].
-
Back to the drawing board... the basics of defence etc not taught anymore it seems.
-
Smith should not be trying to fly for marks. He is in the backline. Punch the ball. Stop hindering your team mates.
-
What a shame the umpires haven't improved their skills during lockdown. Razor Ray = still no idea.
-
Everyone must follow his lead now. (never thought I would be saying that about Trac).
-
What the freak?? Does Melbourne have split personalities? They play differently every quarter!
-
What was Smith thinking?
-
Carlton taking advantage of Max's ruck work.
-
It's even better. I have some bad memories of Princes Park and entitled Carlton supporters. Arrogant twerps.

Lucky they can't kick. What was the 50 for? serious question. I missed it.

Keep 'em scoreless. Those three zeros are perfection.
