AFLW: QF vs North Melbourne
AFL really have nothing to do with that unless you feel it is a respect issue for the Club. That could have featured another game if they wanted to. State Govt and the Barassi family organised the date arrangements for the Memorial service on Friday.

Trading pick 6
Seems about the most infeasible list of options Iâve ever heard of. You would be lucky for any Clubs to trade with your suggestions. See that you are a newish D/L poster perhaps we want Curtain but donât think he is worth pick 6 ( sorry Pick7) as he wouldnât be available anyway as WC would have selected him ahead of us!! Back to your drawing board or your football seance this week. .

2024 Demons Jumper
So MCW you want us to change our guernsey colours because a few people are colour blind. If the world gif that some country flags and other pageantry would all be altered. Traditional colours are gitbiur home games and if the odd person is ignorant they are the lesser. Do you think Essendon would ever contemplate changing their original sash colours to grey if the were mistaken for ours? Never and we should be the same and uphold our Club. Main thing is you have a dark (navy) blue and red flag and banner to worry about. The Club gets it right and our fans know itâs authentic. BTW I adore our clash colours and reckon they are great in as a second jumper. Please donât ever get that putrid white clash one again.

Welcome to Demonland Kynan Brown
Most Dees fans will always remember BBB as one if our best recruits in 2021 even if he never plays another AFL game. His part in 2021 was tactically and structurally so valuable in our forward makeup. His height far too tall for the Dogs defence and as he marks with his hands tall at the top of his leap he was unbeatable that day. At the game and on the replay his 3 goals one on the second third and fourth quarters were all classical high marks and confidence boosters to all our forwards. While itâs frustrating he had had multiple mainly knee injuries since no one could have predicted that. And he is a coach in the making if he wishes to go down that path. I hope he can get back to full health so to with Tmac another great Clubman and either get games in AFL again or help our young forwards along and keep the pressure on them. Letâs not cast them aside letâs half glass full for 2024 for all our list of 44 or is it now 42?

2024 Fixture
Gees have a winge! Why will Pies love it? They may still not be drawn to play at the Cattery. Also better to see a grandstand opened than a flag unfurled !!!

2024 Fixture
How do you know that in 2024 ? Draw not out yet. Cats may still make more out of 80/90,000 at G .

2024 Fixture
You are assuming that travel games are harder which isnât the case all the time. WC and North at Blundstone are easy games It often depends on the time that are played at.

Phantom Drafts 2023

Too Tall?
Agree but as below post Leake and I say or Windsor at 11 would be nice additions to our list.

AFLW: Rd 09 vs Fremantle
The best reason is probably a contract that may involve games as guaranteed. I donât know MCW but as you know most other important facts within the Club you may care to check on our commitment there. The AFL have carefully eased us into Ikon Park as it was necessitated under their own KPIâs. They canât increase rounds without certain crowds and TV audiences. Also they know they are in trouble when the big 4 play each other and struggle to get 3,000 or more, Ikon Park or no Ikon Park. I believe a 17 game season 8 home one year and 9 the next with 4 and 3 Casey games if contracted incorporated. Interstate at Casey and Blockbusters at Ikon. Maybe there just will never be a game vs Kangas that will draw more than 4/5,000!

AFLW: Rd 09 vs Fremantle
Well that might change if a concerted effort was made to do that. Also I believe the Club should be proactive in trying out a supporters bus to Casey from near MCG or FlindersSt/ Southern Cross. Anyways letâs concentrate on the back to back Flag which will along with our not to be underestimated McClelland Trophy win ( heist almost) and itâs just rewards to both our AFL and ALFW groups. We missed out on the real Chocolates đ« in September and only the smart fans and footy nerds know how close we really were. They would be shaking in their shoes if we ever get a functional forward line with all players fit and firing and available. In addition two almost ready made recruits one a mid and the other a versatile KP player or Harley Reid on his own would do no harm at all to our chances. We might have a little bit of mud on our boots at the moment but the $1m is a circuit breaker and base which we can and will go forward with confidence and purpose into 2024. Go Dees.

Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
Agree reckon he will be a mid with us Terrific run and carry and long left foot kick. Made for us just at the right time. Ouch you are looking at an outside runner here that we need. Our half backs should be more attacking. Canât see why not. Judd Riv and Bowser and Salo can all get on their bike. Letâs see them do that.

Dees win $1million McClelland Trophy
Boy you sure can kill a party !! youâd be upset if we lost a mill I bet so give credit where itâs due. Well done all the players good team efforts.

Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
I am talking about Caleb Windsor. Itâs his thread and we need his style to add outside run to our midfield.

What's needed in 2024
While I respect what you have written I font like the nature now that you canât reveal what the actions are. If itâs Maysie at the BAndF and this debate has continued I donât have an issue with that. I believe speaking the hard truths is the only way to resolve some issues. Perhaps the public nature doesnât sit with everyone but really by next season ( actually pre season commences) the Club will have discussed all the issues and a way forward implemented. More likely you are referring to a star player and his situation snd as it has been requested that privacy be given you are like me bound to refrain from further comment. It is ongoing so hereâs hoping about its income being positive. I have faith in the Club handling it despite your concern. Some events have been prior to recent and canât be loaded into todays fish and chip wrappers comments. I fully expect a 2021 attitude will be back starting from our training blocks in late November. Nothing less will be required for us to climb the mountain again successfully.

Dwayne Russell's 2024 Top 50
Itâs a judgement on season 2023. Thatâs not stupid if you take Jackâs performances. Clearly his best season by far.

Harrison Petty
âNo one is gone â Papley stayed at Swans after wanting to go to Carlton so we donât know for sure. In. Year or twoâs time.

Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
That makes the draft about â6/8 shortâ in the first round if the experts are any guide!! You can only select from the players available any way.

Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
Thatâs not looking at a half glass full. Better to look at good points than the bad. How else do you judge a player. ? Highlights are better than nothing. Prey tell me who you have earmarked or noticed about not having some flaws in their highlights and they have been chosen. Wrong approach. You can eliminate some flaws and get to know them once a recruit arrives at your Club. That is part of development. Some Clubs are better at it than others. All players at 1& need to work on their game In the AFL also.
