What they are saying at Windy Hill
Credit where it's due. One of them did actually write could've instead of could of.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Hey Layz. I was walking through our local shopping centre today when a guy in an Oxfam bib walked up to me. Not to ask for money but to ask if I was from Glasgow as he saw the Rangers jacket I was wearing. He was from Belfast. We spoke about the usual stuff. Where back home we were from, how we ended up here, where can you get a decent pint of the black stuff etc. Another guy must have overheard us and came over to join the craic. He is from Longford on the other side of the border. It was all going well until one of them asked, "have you been watching the euros?". Almost simultaneously we all groaned and said how unbearable back home it would be for everyone if England actually won the thing. They will always think they are the centre of the universe.

I don't think I've turned the tv on for three years or more. Like most on here it's Kayo for sports plus a dodgy online streaming service to watch European and NFL games that aren't being broadcast on Kayo, even though it's unreliable it's free. The content on mainstream commercial tv channels is rubbish.- PREGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon

I agree with your latter observation Moonie but the window seats made for a lovely winters day sun trap on Sunday considering our seats up there are almost permanently in shade.- Food at the Footy
The new bar on level 2 of the northern stand now sells bahn mi rolls for $16 to go with their bland alcohol choices.- "Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
I know it's early in the week but the forecast is for some showers on Saturday night, which might lessen the blow just a tad.- GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs West Coast

I have heaps of second teams. Whoever is playing against Collingwood. Whoever is playing against Celtic. Whoever is playing against England. Whoever is playing against an NFC Central team that isn't the Packers.- POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Brisbane
I feel ya. We did the 24 hour cheer squad bus trip to Cararra and back to watch us lose by 5 points to the Bears in their second home game in the competition. Left an hour after the game for the return trip after we'd loaded the flags and poles back onboard and were using a huge plastic red surround that the poles slipped into at the time that weighed a ton and smelt awful. Some of your older travelling partners may remember it. I think we had Banana Bender Busters written on the front of the run through with the Ghostbusters symbol and a banana wearing sunglasses in place of the ghost 😂 Maybe I need to take it to a higher court of appeal and ask @Demonstone ?- POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Brisbane

I think this is great for the lad but geez we're going into the back end of the season with a very young and inexperienced side.- POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

I tend to visualise a place on how nice sounding it's name is only to find it's nothing like that in real life (eg the Canary Islands). St Albans sounds like the bucolic English commuter town it's named after but I live close enough to know that's not entirely accurate. On moving to Canterbury, in Kent a while back we went for a drive to Margate on Christmas Day to find a post apocalyptic seaside town housing refugees in run down terrace houses. It now has a Turner Contemporary gallery and a thriving creative and foodie scene though. Sittingbourne is a nice sounding place that is pretty horrible. Grimsby on the north east coast however is exactly as it say's on the tin. - Free to Air TV Losing Money and Shedding Jobs - What does that mean for footy?
